I have gotten this call twice so far and they even called my mum. I am so glad to hear it is scam.

Second call from this number. They have also called my husband and mom. Thanks for everyone’s post. At first this message is alarming, but reading all the post I now know it is a scam. Thanks for everyone’s post. I will block the number and report like other post recommend to do.

Also received message looking for my husband’s whereabouts because of a formal complaint. I have filed complaints with the FCC and the FTC. I encourage you to do the same if we all complain maybe this will [***] down this scam.

I would suggest that you take the time to read CWG40's post on the previous page, and then sue them.  This will certainly shut them down a lot quicker.

Asked about relative in another state!

Keeps calling stating I have a formal complaint filed against me and if I don’t call back they will call the authorities. Also calls family members . NEED THIS TO STOP!

Make a complaint.  See my previous entries.  They most certainly will not stop unless a lot of people make formal complaints against them.    To simply post here the statement "need this to stop" won't accomplish anything.  As I say report them to the proper authorities.

Every time I get a message from these people I file a complaint with the FCC and the FTC. I don’t know if it does any good but I will try anything to get these losers to stop calling me and my family.

I received a call today 11/27/17 @ 11:37 am from a John Lewis. I sent the call to voice mail. Asking for someone I do know , asking if I know of their whereabouts. Has a formal complaint and if I can call them with any information... no company name given.

Called with a threat saying if I don't return their call by 5 they were going to call the authorities on me

SCAM!! EVIL sounding guy says he is looking for my mother who is dead.  This is a psychotic scam and he makes it sound like he is going to call the police but that is illegal and he sounds threatening but doesn't say where he is from.

Male caller asking if I knew and had a pre recorded voice - and there next step was to contact the proper authorities ( MAKES ME MAD)

We are advised to file a complaint. However, I've done that, not only with this guy, but with others in the past. I truly don't believe it does a dang bit of good. I always received automated replies..they have received the info, and I will not get a call, but thank you, blah blah blah. What good does it do to take the time to file a complaint when nothing is done about it anyway? Not trying to anger anyone..this is just my point of view. None of these agencies we report to seem to do anything.
