Just received a call from this number (855-420-8338-Sharon Parsons) as well.  Thanks for all your posts. I had a feeling it was a scam.

Just got the same call... They threaten to put a lien on my home but would stop the process and take payment over the phone now. I asked for official court documents and they said they can email it to me do I have a email address. At that point I knew they were BS. Court not emailing anything. When I told them to go head and mail me information so I can give it to my lawyer, he responded ok you want us to continue with putting a lien on your home we will. I said send me the information and I will discuss with my lawyer he hung up.

I figured it was a scam b/c the card they called about was 13yrs old and not even on my credit anymore.  Additionally, anyone sending official documents would have verified my address before they hanging up.

I did happen to get same call. The parson lady is very rude. But, to be honest, the call was very real!! They do mediate debt. They may just be collectors with attorneys on hand, but I'd rather take care of the issues than go through what (could happen!!!! All I can do is wait n see...ya know?!

Same story here. HAD to be a SCAM. When I mentioned my lawyer he started stuttering.

Got a call from this number and his name was John Starks from Crosby and associates. He named me by name and said he was a legal assistant and wanted to verify my name and date of birth and social #. He stated it was for fraud on some application. He was calm and not angry. I am just tired of the the calls most of the them are just to hassle you, but I guess everyone needs a job.

Just received a call from Crosby, Cain and Associates - they used the name John Starks and also Anthony Welker - said I had a $3,000 debt and 3 civil charges against me although he wouldn't/couldn't tell me what it was in regards to.  Something about GE MoneyBank - blah blah blah.  Started asking to speak to the Attorney, details on the "client", etc.  He accused me of "talking in circles" and wanted to know if I was willing to pay a plea deal amount.  Yeah, right!  Tell me the name of the firm again??????  click - he hung up on me.  LOL

I just got the same call from Sharon Parson with Legal Carring Services with the same phone number to call back on 855-420-8338. I will be served within 24 to 48 hours. First of all my name is not on the voicemail and how do they know they are talking to the correct persons phone. Wow such a scam... I should have answered that Unknown 000-000-0000 number and let her have it.... LOL

Ok...same story to report...calls from 000-000-0000, then a voicemail from "Sharon Parsons" telling me I was about to get served, and to call back 855-420-8338.

Should i be worried that i gave my email address to send me the "supposed documents" regarding the lawsuit being filed against me?

Same call, left a message on my cell. Call back number 855-420-8338. Message from Sharon Parsons saying she had a "summons in hand" and would be serving it in 24-48 hours to my home and place of employment, that I needed to  be ready with 2 forms of photo ID and a supervisor & head of security at work. LOL!!!! Hysterical. These idiots have no idea that actual summons servers *never* notify you in advance, their job is to catch you by surprise (my brother does it for a living.) I have had payday loan debts in the past, but all are paid off and I owe nothing to anyone right now.

Same type of call.  Sharon Parsons.  My bills are all paid up to date. I don't know who she's working for or what she's talking about.  I'm not going to change my schedule for her so if she shows up at my work while I'm here or at my home while I'm there in the next 24 hours, so be it.  I'm not calling her back.

Scam all the way! Don't give them your money, its a scam. They are scum. Don't fall for the scam!!!!

They leave a message saying they're going to deliver a summons if you don't respond. When you call back, they say you owe money on a credit card and pressure you to pay right away. Don't do it and don't give them any more info than they already have.

I just got a message from Lucas Vanderbilt from Crosby, Cain and Associates.  He claims that a complaint was filed against me in the county I live in and read off some court docket number.  He asked that he call back because he needed my SSN, DL#, and Birthdate to make sure it was me!  I am calling in to report.  I was previously contacted by Sharon Parsons and also received the threat of a summons that never came.  I called them back on that one and they said they were collecting on a Bank of America credit card. I have never had a bank of America credit card!  Whatever you do - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!

My call was from   Jennifer Mitchell  with Crosby Cane and associates.  1855-420-8338.
Told me I was named in a pending theft of services case, and also check fraud. She advised that there was a process server hanging around in my county.  Imagine that a process server in my county...
I haven't owned checks in 5 years, but I took the bait I called, ask if they were a collection agency she explained no the were a law office.  When she started telling me about the bank that I have never heard of and how I owed them money, I said ohh, you are a collections agency, she got angry and verbally attacked me telling me my case was way to old and expired as a collections case and I was now being taken to court for theft, how did I want to settle this.  I told her I cannot make an agreement on a debt that I don't know about.  She wanted my email I said no, since they know where I live they can mail the stuff to me.  ..The funny thing is that I do not work or live in the county that the process serving is hanging out at go figure.  I too am tired of these calls.  I am glad I found this site thanks to all for sharing your info...  put my mind at ease knowing that what I thought was a scam was.  I will never call one of these numbers back again...

I have got a call from 0000000 a few times now. This time it was very threatening saying I was being summoned on Friday.  It is Thursday.  I called back the 18554208338 number and they tell lme I owe GE Credit Company for over 1400.00 and I need to settle the debt for 223 by the 18th or I am going to court.  These people are all over the place when you talk to them.  ONe minute you are being served the next you get an extensiion.  I asked to get information and no one has sent me anything.  I do have a very old debt that I paid on in the past and thought it was settled.  I might still owe this but why would I pay them especially when they are using scare tactics.
