They call me everyday at 5:45pm. Luckily I'm not home from work yet so I never get the chance to answer!

yep. Same number, no voice mail. I wonder if I can "block" it on my cell phone? Ironically I get these calls on my cell more than at home.

Received numerous calls from this number. If I don't pick up, they don't leave any message. I picked up once, they wanted my private information and I hung up.

I have received a call from this number every morning for the last week and a half Monday to Friday.  Since I don't recognize the number, I never pick it up.  No message is ever left.  I am not a Roger's customer so I don't know how they would have gotten it.  It is a nuisance!

I am a Rogers cell phone customer and I get calls from this number frequently.

Any call from a 855 area code is charged to the person answering the call, not the person making the call.

I have complained to Rogers and to the CRTC and nothing has been done so far.

855 is just the newest toll-free area code. You will not be charged if you answer a call from the 855 area code, just as you would not be charged for a call which displayed 800, 877, or 866 on the caller ID. That being said, I would not recommend answering 855 calls because they are mostly telemarketers or debt collectors.

I have gotten this number calling me as well. I found this site while attempting to look up the number.

I called Rogers Customer Service directly and asked them if they could tell me if this number was actually associated with them. The lady said they do have a lot of 3rd party's who place calls on their behalf for promotional services, but she could not find the particular number of 855-465-4015.

I told her I thought it very strange that this number asks for my postal code and when I ask why? they just hang up. The lady said that does sound suspicious since they'd only ask that to confirm they're talking to the person they called and then would explain WHY they're calling. Since they just hang up on being questioned, she said she doesn't believe that the number is actually anyone associated with any Rogers' 3rd party's.

If you follow the link I posted previously, it says:

"Area code 855 is a future area code reserved for toll-free calls in which the calling party is not charged.

So, if one is a legitimate business, then customers calling you for products, services, etc. are not charged, the business is.
But, if one is using the 855 area code to call others, then, according to the above statement, aren't those people the 855 area code user is calling get charged for the call?

Are there not people who have posted above who have said that there are charges for 855 numbers on their bills?

Same here... I receive about 2 calls a week from this number.  I haven't got a clue on how to block this number.  Rogers isn't able to help much, since they are [***].

If anyone can sort this out, please let us all know.  I would love to be able to file a law suit for this headache.

Missed a call from this number but they didn't leave a voicemail. Now I'm glad I missed them.

Just got a call from this number, 5th time this month.  Used CallClerk to automatically hang up on it.

I am getting 2 calls a day from this number. I have told them to call me back at a later time thrice! They have been calling me at 9am & 2pm daily for 2 weeks now. SO ANNOYING!

It is from Rogers and if you have services with them they become exempt from the Do Not Call List. You can however be asked to be put on their list when you talk to them.

I also have recieved numerous calls from this number.  They said it was "Z" calling on behalf of Rogers and then they messed up and starting laughing thats when I hung up!  So sad people do this, they also have a bogus website etc.

These idiots have been calling me every day for over a week on my cell phone.  They always manage to call at a time when I am not able to answer.  They just called me about 30 minutes ago and for the first time I was able to answer.  When I said 'hello', the idiot on the other end said 'I'm sorry' and hung up.  I could hear a call center in the background.

I would apreciate that something is done to stop individuals from this number calling on my cell phone. When i answer i get a tapped machine and they call everyday.

This same number has been calling me for a couple of weeks now. It's very irritating. I just didn't bother picking up the calls.

I guess the only way to stop it is not pick up the call....
