- nfgTD CANADA TRUST has employed many many fresh immigrants from overseas MOSTLY FROM INDIA. Not to mention MOST CALLS ARE ROUTED TO INDIA. NOW THERE ARE 2 CHANCES HOW these fishing people have your HOME PHONE MUMBERS AND FULL NAMES:-
A) INFO MIGHT BE LEAKING RIGHT FROM FRESH IMMIGRANT TD BANK EMPLOYEES.
B) OVERSEAS EMPLOYEES!! Come-on guys we all know how many nicer rules are there and how nicley RULES are implemented there. Say for example yu phoned about your VISA? Line of Credit? Even personal account>>Call WILL BE DEFINATELY ROUTED TO INDIA, now that guy you were talking to; quit his/her job next week or so but recorded all calls in his pocket device!! IMAGINE HOW SAFE WE ARE THEN?- Caller: SAYS td bank

- CrimsonIt is some banking survey outfit asking questions about your satisfaction level of your current bank. They are relentless and it almost seems as if you are the only one thyey have to call. They have been calling me 5 times a day for 7 straight days (work days)
- Bouviergirl| 1 replyI've been seeing this number on my call ID log on my landline. I ignore the call if I'm in and sometimes it calls when I'm out and doesn't leave a message. I don't have a TD account like so many of the people posting and my phone # is unlisted. So annoying.
- TD Research replies to BouviergirlIt may not be TD then. Its simply a research company and when you don't answer the phone, the computer alls back not the company. The computer system makes it think if you're not picking up then you probably aren't home. Try picking up, if you're not interested in a survey, just tell them. :)
Also if you don't have an account with TD, let them know and they'll take you off the list. They won't know if you don't tell them. :)
Because it's only an outbound call center they/we can't leave a voicemail because there's no in bound number to leave. - Corsential employee replies to Joshua| 2 repliesHello, Joshua. The company is Corsential and they are a reputable market research company. They work with TD to understand how satisfied you are with TD's services. They will never ask anything confidential. They ask you questions where you would rate TD'S service on a scale of 1-7.
- Bob replies to MP| 1 replyOk....you can NEVER be charged for a call without your consent !! Stop with the nonsense !!
- KimberlinI have received calls from this number but no message.
- LeeThis number called me on 9/2, on my cell phone. I did not pick-up the call, and they left no message.
- Caller: Unknown
- reportI continue to receive calls with no voice from 855-496-4285
Please investigate - Liz BrooksKeep getting unwanted calls from this number falsely posing as TD BANK!
- Caller: Marketing Co.
- Sherry| 1 replycalls over and over again for my boss...to which I always reply "he's not in"...they just don't get it..
I have their number...he'll never be in...lol - Lava| 1 replyJust got a call from this number - claimed to be from TD bank
- Call type: Telemarketer
- rachel| 1 replyI got a call from this too. They said they called on behalf of TD canada. I highly doubted this because I don't reallly believe TD canada would ask a third party to take this kind of time-consuming suvey on phone which is easily be done on line. If customers are not willing take the survey on line, they will for sure not even to take the long survey on phone!!
Another strange thing is the caller seems try to hold me on phone for a certain amount of time. Anyway, to be safe, no need to answer this kind of phone- Caller: on behalf of TD
- Call type: Survey
- Corsential Employee replies to SherryCan I make a suggestion? Just ask that they take you off of their list. If you just keep saying that your boss isn't in, they'll code it in the computer as a callback for another time, typically one day later.
And not that anyone will believe me, but we really are working for Corsential and really have been retained by TD Canada Trust/TD Bank to call their clients and obtain feedback on their experience in the branch. If you've been in to a branch to conduct some business, we'll call you to follow-up, as requested by TD.
If you ignore the calls and never answer, it gets coded as a 'no answer' and you'll get called again. If you hang up immediately, it will be coded as "technical difficulties" and you'll get called again - rather quickly, I might add!
There's no scamming involved. No personal information is requested. We have access to nothing of yours, including your phone number (it's encoded). That said, if you don't feel comfortable responding then just say so and ask to be taken off the list. It will solve your problem of being called much more effectively than just ignoring the number - because, as I said, the computer automatically codes these things and will try calling again and again and again until someone answers. - LOLactually, i work at corsential..... the system automatically calls you back after 30 mins if u didn't pick up..... and we just do surveys for like TD and ask for opinions about the customer service, NOTHING CONFIDENTIAL.... actually, just to admit it, if i didn't work there, i'd be annoyed too.... i even get annoyed when the system calls someone back and i see it's the 3rd or 4th time that the system's dialed that number, i get so freaked out and hope that no one picks up cuz they tend to yell at you and be like "why did you call so many times?? it's the 3rd time already!!"
