actually, TD does most of it's "annoying" customer service surveys through third parties....... and as i mentioned i work at corsential and the call is LEGIT.... just very time consuming.... and they callers try to take up a certain amount of your time because all of our calls are monitored by our supervisors..... so they listen to all our calls and we get in trouble if we don't do things according to policies..... :(

In the 5 seconds it took to do a google search, and find this page and skim the first couple messages, I didn't get an idea it was a telemarketer so I took the call.

The survey/interview for my most-recent TD visit was very pleasant, and easy to communicate (english speaker!) and the full call lasted 9 minutes according to the iPhone.  Not a whole lot of time.  But enough for one week.

i m continuously receiving call from 855 496 4285.. now tired with these. i have read all above comments. tooooo many people are receiving call from this number and nobody get the answer or message. but nobody has given solution what to do, to stop receiving this call. now since last 4 or 5 day's, i am receiving 10 to 15 times a day. this is very serious matter for me...

Request you please reply immediately, if you know the answer that how to stop this call.

Calls from this number comes in all the time and they are not saying anything or asking for me by name and I refuse, because I do not know who they are and they do not identify their number.

That number just called twice tonight...I was a TD customer, till I closed my account yesterday...LOL! I am also a Rogers customer. Same thing, they don't leave a message, and I tried to call it back and it was busy. Anyone know who's # it is??

The only thing I can suggest is go to a National Do Not Call website, and submit your number. It takes about 31 days for it to register and you may still receive some phone calls but from what I have heard from others, this actually works. There are some exceptions to the rules, but there is a written outline for you what "telemarketers" can still call. I just registered, wish me luck!

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.
But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

It is amazing that such a crooked practice is allowed to go on!
Where are the feds when I need them????? I wrote to my US Rep...no response!

Bottom line: IGNORE IT and never give the other side ANY information. PERIOD!

HEy, if they get charged for the call, we should all mass call them, and make their phone bill so big it shuts them down!!

if you are seriously annoyed by the call, next time someone calls, just ask politely to be taken off the list :)  just saying, politely ask because it actually keeps us employees out of trouble with our supervisors, and if you just ask, we'll just code you as on the "do not call list", because most do not call lists refer to telemarketers, but if you ask, we'll specifically put you on our company's "do not call list", I hope that helps?? :)

That is funny but thing Im interested in is the fact that I have an acct with the meantioned bank and I made a call to customer service yesterday. by chance. I think not somebody is selling someones information.

I get at least a call from them a day for the past several weeks.  I have gotten into the habit of NOT answering my phone unless I know who is calline me.  I am very tempted to buy an air horn and blast it in the receiver!!

Report them to the fcc. If you are on the do not call list, they shouldn't be calling.
If you are not on the do not call list, then do it right away.

Received a call from this number, but did not answer the phone.  Called the number back later and the recording said that it reached Core Central and research opinion company.

HUMM I got a call today from the same number and i use TD bank i am wondering if TD is hacked and they are not talking about it from reading the majorety are with TD and that rase a flag.

Got a call from the number 855-496-4285 everyday this week and happens at 12 noon. No voice message was left. I usually don't answer unknown numbers. I am glad I have found this site that tells more info about this number. It is very annoying. Is there anyway we can block this caller or this number? Thanks.

I receive two missed calls today on my cell from an unknown number.

I put my tel num in not-to-call list. I do not want any calls

not to be rude, but "do not call lists" are for TELEMARKETERS, Corsential is a research firm, so that why you have to be SPECIFICALLY PUT ON THE COMPANY'S "do not call list", so as I said, next time they call, just pick up and ask nicely to be put on the "do not call list", and since we are a legit company and WE ARE DEFINITELY not trying to sell anything, it won't hurt for us to just put you on the list......
