That number has been calling me 5-8 times a day for a few weeks. Never a message so it must be some stupid telemarketing crap.  Until Canada and the USA agree to cooperate on Do Not Call lists, each country can pester the other one without consequences. Call the feds and tell them to get moving on a solution!

This number called identified himself as a trucking company looking to hire.Stated the company was new and looking for drivers.Very friendly and asked where he could send an information package to.Had researched his information on Facebook as I ended up catching on to him and actually had a humerous conversation with him.

Td just told me to report this to their fraud division. This is not one of their callers.

I have received calls from this number for over a week now.  I never answer.  I use verizon but none of the banks that are mentioned in this.  Thanks for all the info everyone

I've been getting calls, on my office phone, from this number for a couple of weeks now.  I never answer and today a v-mail was left... I listened to it, the person probably hadn't hung up properly.  Although they weren't leaving me a message, I could hear them typing and I could make out voices in the background... it sounded like a call center - numerous people talking, lines ringing.  Good thing we have call display and don't need to pick up!

I received a call today from 1- 855-496-4285. Fortunately I was at a Remembrance Day Ceremony so couldn't answer my phone. I see here that these are marketing calls. What disappoints me is that my number is registered on the Canadian National Do-not-call list and I am receiving these anyway. Is there no way to get these guys from ignoring the laws about restictions on who can make marketing and solicitation calls?

The call I got was for a survey for TD Bank, whom I recently started a checking account with.

I received a call from 855-496-4285 on my cell phone.  I did not answer but looked it up on the internet.  It is similar to the 800 numbers except the call is free to the caller, IF YOU ANSWER THEN YOU PAY FOR THE CALL!

Received an unwanted call from this number on my cell phone, it didn't leave a message. 2:49pm 11/16/11.

I got couple of calls from this number (1 hour apart), and there was no message left for me. Thanks for the posts, now I know i must ignore this one.

You do not get charged for these.

You get called from this number after having visited a TD branch. They are customer satisfaction surveys. Annoying, bu not a scam.

They have been calling me on my cell phone everday! My number is unknown so I have no clue how they got it. I have not picked it up. I just end the call and send them to voice mail. This is so annoying!

I don't have a bank account though. I got my phone last christmas so maybe the person the had it before me used that number when they opened an account so I'm getting calls because of them.

It is not a call you get after visiting a TD Bank. Have never visited one, nor do I have an
account with one.
