I received a phone call from 855-496-4285, I did not answer and they did not leave a message?

Got a call...no message...I also bank at TD

Got a call from these guys around 6:30 pm .  Didn't get to it in time, it stopped after 3 rings,  called it back and it was busy, apparently online talk says it is a phone scam.

Received call from this number at 7:30 PM on December 1, 2011.  I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.  I see from the posts that when someone does answer the line that they are pretending (?) to take survey information for TD Bank.  I do bank with TD but even if it were legite, I don't have time to answer surveys.

Strange- almost everyone seems to be a TD Bank Account-holder...not exactly a coincidence! Looks like pvt info may have been sold to 3rd party

can anybody do something about this? can we report them to authorities? i already told this TD agent that i'm busy but still they kept on calling,really disturbing & irritating...

I get these calls and similar calls from other numbers as well. It was on my Verizon cell phone and I am currently a TD bank member. If it were legitimate, they would leave a message, but they don't. I am planning to switch my bank and my cell phone provider very soon. Either TD bank sold this info, or was hacked. Either way they have lost my trust and business.

I just got a phone call from this number... I didn't answer... I live in BC, and I'm with Telus and Td Bank... I just changed my number with the bank 2 days ago!! Im not very happy that whoever this is, has my cell number, I will be talking to my bank tomorrow.

I got two calls frome this number in a matter of an hour. Answered the second time and said they were from td bank and asked if I could call back before 8:30pm. So I called TD and they said they have no record of or reason for calling me. Said it is most likely a scam.

Received call at about 8 PM.  I also have a TD bank account and verizon.  Just deposited money and made an online purchase yesterday, not something I do very often for that account.

The number is legit. TD hired the company to rate customer service. Before saying its a scam just listen. They ask you no personal info!

I suddenly started getting calls from this number today. They left one message --> dead air. They called at 5:12, 5:47, 6:22, and 6:52. The caller ID came up as UNKNOWN NAME. Typically, whenever I get a call from someone who wants to keep their name a secret, I like to play along. I don't answer, and we can ALL keep it a secret! The rule of thumb is NEVER answer a number you don't recognize. I'm pretty sure that's why they invented caller ID in the first place. If a call's legit, it will be evident in your vm. When I was a kid in Catholic school, I had a great teacher who used to tell us that if Jehovah's Witnesses come to your door, just flap your arms and cluck like a chicken till they leave. On the phone, put some intonation in your clucking. See how long the call lasts. At least you'll have something funny to tell your friends. Don't worry. Be flappy.

George: Banks are so nervous about telephone and other types of fraud, it is highly unlikely they would engage third parties to communicate with their customers. I'm with TD, too. Someone is riding their coat tails to appear legit. Call your branch.

why do you heven have a cell phone if you don't know the number no one else does?!?

I got a call from these guys this morning, last night and six times the day before.  What's up with that?  I haven't answered it as they usually call when I am out, but they don't leave a message.
I have had so many calls from them, so I just assumed it was junk, but this is ridiculous.   I just tried to call the number twice and the line is busy.

Called me today and left no message (and I've never heard of most of the banks mentioned here).

We keep getting calls from this number.  They never leave a message and we never answer.  We have call display.  It is very annoying.  There is no caller company name ever listed.  Just "Long Distance Service".

Two calls from 855-496-4285 were sent to a special extension for calls from telemarketers or survey takers.  First call was @ 2:45 PM; second call was @ 2:47 PM.  Both were hang-ups.

If these calls reached the office of the President and Vice-President, they would have been rejected as the number appears on my DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK NUMBER Sheets.

How annoying!

I just have a call from this number and I did'nt answer.  They never leave a message.  It's my first call from them.  Hope it will be the last.
