Daily calls from this number to my cell phone.  Never a message.  Trying to block it.

I just got a call from this number. Not knowing who it was I answered it expecting it was an employer, but instead I heard clicks on the other end and they immediately hung up after exactly 5 seconds.

I looked up the number right away and found this page. Sounds like I fit the profile like most of everyone else, except my phone is with Bell instead.

This is the first time this number has called me, but it isn't the first time I've received one of these deadringers that turn out to be scammers when I later search the numbers online.

I got two calls from this number in the past 45 minutes. My number has been on the national DNC list for over 3 years and I went to their site and filed a complaint against this company. I suggest that anyone else that is getting unwanted calls do the same. You can go to the link below and register your number or if you are already registered you can lodge a complaint against them. It is illegal for telemarketers to call people on the DNC list and you can sue them if you want to go that far.

they say they are calling from td bank for a survey

This is rediculous!  5 calls in 2 days.  No one on the other end of the line.  Stopped answering.  REALLY?  Who do I complain to?

I got three of these calls tonight:

The calls were spaced out at about 30 minutes apart, starting at about 6:45 PM.  All of them went to the answering machine and didn't leave a message.

After that, I blocked the number from being able to call.  Eat static, and thank you Cogeco Selective Call-Blocking service.  :-)

I have received unwanted calls from 855-496-4285 on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9.  The calling party must be calling numerous phone numbers in such a manner that they only respond to the first person that answers their phone.  My phone book tells me that 855 is a toll free call.  We need the phone companies or our government to eliminate the calls.  Both days they have hung up before I can answer  the phone.

I just recieved a call from 18554964285 7:15 EST.  The phone rang I picled it up a they hungup. I was at my computer at the time and I entered the number into GOOGLE and got to here. I am a TDBank customer in MASS.

they said they were TD Bank in Myrtle beach SC ... no way !!!!

Just started received these again.  Also just opened an account with TD Bank within the month. They never leave a message and when you call back a recording says they are conducting surveys and even though your number is unlisted they are exempt from that, and yadayadayada. Thought I got out of it for a while, but as of today they're baaack.

Well, I guess we know where you work, yeah?  And you know the meaning of the word harrass, too, and included the "create an unpleasant or hostile situation".  Corsential does do that.  Read the posts, shill.

Corsential does not treat every respondent/interviewee with utmost tact, respect and courtesy, or these complaints wouldn't be here.   You do nothing that doesn't benefit yown your objective, which is to get people to respond by using any and all means possible.  You do threaten, hung-up, use vile words or call people vicious names to get our job done

All one needs to legally do is do is to pick-up the phone and request to be taken off from the calling list.  There is no requirement or justificaiton for asking people who do not wish to participate in your actions to do ANYTHING.  

It is true that your solicitations (look that word up, loser) are lumped together with all the other ‘unwelcome, harassing’ calls, because there is no differentiation between you and all the other solicitors who ignore people's requests not to be bothered on phones that they pay for for their use, not the use of people/groups/solicitors.  Don't try to justify your actions.  You've just made yourself and those you represent look like fools, and, of course, verified who you are working for.

In the end, like everyone else, we do what we should do so we can do what we really want to do, which is live in our homes, and drive our cars without people bothering us.

How bout if your answering picks up?

Got a call from 855-496-4285 but didn't answer my cell phone provider is Rogers but I pay my bill via
TD Bank but always go into my branch to pay the bill (Teller/CSR). I am wondering if someone maybe hacking into data sent from TD Bank which in turn goes to cell phone provider to post payment(s) onto your actual account.

I got a call from this number about 30 min. ago. No messages...I tried answering but no one on the line....then I let my answering machine pick up....no messages left on machine either????? very weird!

Funny you should say that, and I use TD Bank also online services.....any connections? Exact same number that you post and even got a call again just a few minutes ago.....maybe someone is hacking into the data system from TD....not sure...but isn't the system suppose to be secure? I did not use my cell phone though.!!!!!

FYI .. i work for bell mobilty.. this is not something i read on the internet.. call any customer care for any cell phone company and they will tell you right out.. ANYTIME you answer or make a long distance call you are charged long distance... no matter if it was you who called or the number called you. cell phones work differently then land lines because of the towers.. if  long distance calls your landline (home phone).. you are not charged with long distance but if a long distance call is made to your CELL phone .. you do get charged. the only cell phone company i know of that doesnt charge you is Koodoo. i see this happening every day .. people come into the store freaking out about long distance charges on their phone bills thinking they shouldnt be charged because they anwsered the call and didnt make it. its ignorant people like you that make people who have jobs like mine so hard. dont spew out like YOU'RE an expert when you have no idea what you are talking about!!
