I had an incoming call this afternoon notifying me of a TOLL FREE CALL.  On my Missed Call Screen, it read 855-496-4285 TOLL FREE CALL.

The caller left a voice message giving her full name and said she was calling from Greenwich Associates regarding getting our input on their annual banking survey.  Left a reference number and asked for a call back to 877-534-9240.

OUR CORPORATE OFFICES WILL NOT BE RETURNING THE CALL.  WE NEVER PARTICIPATE IN SURVEYS ESPECIALLY OVER THE PHONE.

they keep calling my cell...i dont answer....no message. no idea who they are but I am getting pretty angry 4 or 5 calls a day!

Just msissed their call at 8:15 as I was putting my kids to bed. After reading this I'm glad I missed it :)

I have NEVER used TD and just nmissed a call from this number. Beware!!!

This is the first time I have had a call from this 855 area code. Now that I see what is going on I will ignore them. Do they not have to abide by the no call rule?

This number keeps calling me while Im at work. They never leave a message and when I call back it's busy. It's very annoying and needs to stop

they will leave you alone

and i answer it. that was actually my dad's phone and he can not speak English.
so i said he can not understand or speak english and they said ok bye bye

I just got a call from them a half hour ago for the first time using this number.  I never answer.  Last year, I was constantly called by somebody on behalf of TD.  I do have a bank account with TD but it is only used to pay one bill.

I'm sick and tired of this number calling me for days on end. Just got 2 calls within 15 minutes.

I got a call from this number yesterday around 8 pm. A woman said they were sort of survey company (and also they know which bank I am using). I told her I was extremely busy while there was a pot of syrup boiling in front of me, and she asked me if she could call me back later. I told her "you can try, but I am not sure if I would answer the phone." YES, they tried 3 times again today (WTH)

About the receiving call charges, I don't think receiving calls from this number charges me more than usual (I use prepaid and check my balance regularly). Something suspicious is that I just changed my phone number last week, and I updated my new address and number on my bank's website. I am sure the woman called my name and my bank correctly, so....sounds like the bank is giving out the customers' personal info?

I live in Canada. I just received a call like the ones above. Does this TD hoax only apply to the states? I phoned my bank and they say that no one has called me from that number

Hmmm. I am with TD Bank, and I WENT there yesterday to make a deposit...something I rarely do, as most of my banking is done online. I went to a branch that is NOT my normal branch, because it was more convenient. Now this number has tried calling me THREE times in the last hour! I call back and get a busy signal. :(

Just got a call from this number. My husband is with TD for insurance and we did make a policy change two weeks ago. They asked for him by first name last initial (eg: John S.) which seems odd. I asked her to repeat herself and she said his first name and the first syllable of his last name. I said no one by that name lives here and hung up.

(Had several calls from this number over the last few days with no messages left when I didn't answer..  Today I answered.  They had my name and the name of my bank.  Said TDBank was taking a survey to find out how its customers conducted on-line purchases.  They asked for the spelling of my name and my e-mail information.  At that point I hung up.  They said that the survey would be e-mailed to me and that the bank would send me a $20 check to thank me for my time.  The call came over my cell phone)


I got a call just this evening from that same number. They didn't give me that information. In Fact the gal who sounded very inexperienced and young told me she was doing a survey on Waste! I asked how long it would take she had to get me to hold, came back and said 8 mins. I said O.K. Her First Question was ....... What Bank do you use? I said, WHAT does that have to do with waste? Never mind answering because we're all done. I DO NOT give any Personal Bank Info to anyone. GOOD BYE
I'm reporting the tel # to Police as this sure sounds like a money Scam to me and I'd hate for Senior's to get ripped off they have it hard enough now.

I have been getting missed calls from this number for the last two weeks, usually late at night (7-10 pm) and have never answered as I'm not expecting calls at that hour. I also do business with TD Bank. After reading these posts, I think that if I happen to get one of the calls I will answer in Spanish and see if that makes them take me off the list(!) Very annoying.
