Received a post care from. Spectrum that I changed billing address. I did not. So I visted a spectrum store and they had no record that I changed my billing address...

They called and left a voicemail. Truecaller labeled it spam. The voicemail was an automated voice telling me my technician was on his way for my appointment? I haven’t had spectrum since I moved to Google fiber about 3 years ago.

Non-identified caller.  Called twice and didn’t lv vm.  I DO NOT answer unknown or nonidentified callers

It is a company named NCR and they are a debt collector that states they are suing me and then called people that I am no longer family with for 13 years now telling them I need to call them back. I don't take kindly to threats and told them to stop calling my family members.

Missed the call and they left no voicemail.  I had been talking to Spectrum for a friend earlier.
It could of been a legitimate call but I have no reason to call them back!

This phone number came by Email as a number to call related to a change in my Spectrum service. I did not call it!! Called my standard Spectrum number instead and found Email was bogus. This number is for spam or phishing. DO NOT CALL.

[***] keep calling my house and when I answer the phone it is just a recording that say Welcome to Spectrum and to Press 1 to continue. I just keep hanging up. I called Spectrum as I am a customer and I botched out three different people over the constant calls at early morning hours of this recording and I told them that By God if they have a reason to call me then don't call and then play a recording and say press one to speak to someone. By God if you call me and cant speak then I am hanging up. I threatened to cancel my service and switch to someone else over the phone calls. This is the funny thing. Spectrum verify that this is their number. I was told by three different representatives that this number is in fact Spectrum but they swear it is not them calling. Well if its not then maybe they need a new number or something. I am sick of this waking me up at 6am crap!!!!!!!!!!

This number is a total scam. Pretending to be Spectrum. Was able to obtain by banking info and have fraudulently removed money from my account. DO NOT ANSWER>

I'm thinking that what you really mean is that you gave them your banking info.

I thought this number looked familiar, and it's the customer service number for Spectrum which I have.  But they have no reason to call me, unless to try to sell me something.  But they haven't called in years.

Others on this site say it's a collection agency.  They called about 6pm yesterday.  There was no message.  They might have called earlier in the day, twice.  But the power was out so my (landline) machine and Caller ID won't work.  Since I didn't know who it was I didn't want to pick up.

I bet the number is spoofed; it's not really Spectrum.  It's some kind of scam I bet.  They do use legit numbers of legit businesses.  The ID said "Toll Free Call" like that tells me anything.

Got several robo calls from this number last night saying there's an outage in my area, which was true.  It also said they are working on the problem.  This is the customer service number for Spectrum, I recognize it from my bill.  So it seemed legit.

It was obvious to me the cable was out, but they didn't have to call every hour to tell me that.  Then when it was working again, I got another call but no message.  It was probably to tell me that it's up and running again.

The Caller ID said "Toll Free Call" but it was Spectrum.

I received a call at 3:55pm and again at 5:15pm from this number.  The guy spoke very quickly, stating he was calling from Spectrum and saying they received a signal from my modem today and that it looked like it was having issues and they wanted to send a technician out to look at it.  I told him my internet was fine.  He said they just received a signal and it meant the modem could be going out soon.  It just so happens that I don't have a Spectrum modem.  I paused and told him I would call him back.  He said, well this isn't the number to call back and gave me an 833 number and let them know someone from Production Maintenance called me.  Good try though..

Yeah, we know about that 833 number as well here.  Lots of posts that support your theory and they have been sending lying shills over there to try to convince people that it is legitimate and they have even been calling people who clearly state that they called Spectrum and that they were told that it was a scam liars.

Do you often look up known phone numbers when there's no logical reason to do so?

got a call left message speaking Spanish, I don't speak the language, I had my friend listen and he said, they wanted to sell Spanish speaking people internet. I already had Spectrum internet, so why were they calling me, I suspect fraud.
