I got called on my cell phone from this number and they left me a message stating they were going to file charges in Potter County against me and that I needed to call them back so that I can give my attorney the appropriate information. When I didn't answer they called my work phone and told my co-worker that I needed to contact Jack Miller as soon as possible it was URGENT. I contacted The Texas Office of the Attorney General and have made a complaint against Kennedy Kline Law Associates.  

I just got a call from this company scaring the crap out of me. Telling me that I owe $640 to a company called Imperial Ventures. Telling me that I have three charges against me and that they are going to send the sheriff to where I live. I ended up making a payment arrangement cuz I am homeless and I am trying to move. McNeely is her name is supposed to be calling me on 1/16/2014 to set up the arrangement. So I called my police department and asked them about this situation and they told me it is a scam and not to deal with them. How could people do this. I have been scammed before and the losers always come out around tax time! She called from 855-803-2349. They had my ss# and address of where my son is living. Now I am going to report them.

This person call a member of my family about a  warrant for my arrest, said it was the county sheriff investigator and that I need to call them back asap. Some how the got my last four of my ssn, If they was the sheriff dept. all the have to do is look for the driver license address and send me a warning to come and see then, This people are a rep off. Be careful.

I received a call from this number yesterday ("Kennedy Klein Law Firm - which doesn't even exist by the way), as did my mother-in-law and my dad.  Same as everyone else on here - claiming I still owed on an old debt and basically threatened that if I didn't pay then they would put two warrants out for my arrest when they served me papers.  The red flag came when I asked them what the actual amount was of my original debt, and a breakdown of the charges.  She/he (named "Jamie Fuller") got irritated and said they could provide that if they wanted to take the time to do so but they didn't have time to argue with me and that  it would be in my paperwork.  I told her I thought I was being a victim of identity theft and to please provide me all their company information.  She/he hung up on me at that point.  I called my original debt and I had, in fact, paid this 3 years ago. Somehow this company pulled up information somewhere/somehow.  I then proceeded to file a complaint with this company with the FBI yesterday (Internet Crimes division) and with the FTC/Consumer Affairs today.  So hopefully that will stop these people for all of us!

Received call urgently searching for Mary Allen.  If someone did not respond; then the Johnson County Sheriff's department would be serving a warrant for the arrest of Mary Allen.   I do not know a Mary Allen and when I called back and told them; they immediately hung up.

Caller called my ex-husband in California - I live in Idaho - left a message saying they were investigators with the fraud division and possible charges would be filed.  I called my local sheriff's office and they told me there was nothing under my name and that it was probably a scam.

I called the number and asked for the person - they wanted my name and I said, "no, I just want to talk to......." - put on hold, got the same person back and when I asked for the other person, they hung up.

Received a voicemail from number 855-803-2349 someone named Jason providing me with a case number and telling me that there are 2 charges are filed against me and I have 24 hours to respond or they will proceed to the county.

I called back the number to validate the reality of it and no one answers so I got a voicemail that says "investigation division" and asked that I leave a message.

I received two phone calls from 855-775-2417 asking for a person whom I do not know. When I asked who was calling, I was told that if I wasn't the person I didn't need to know. I called the number back from the caller id on my phone. It answered "Investigations". When I asked the name of the company associated with this group, I was placed on hold. I called back a second time. The person said that I could not have received a phone call from them because it was not in their system. I then stated that I just called them back from the number on my caller id. I demanded the name of their organization and told rapidly it was Kennedy Kline and Assocs. before she hung up.

these people are harassing and threatening and impersonating a sheriff and prosecutor to get less than 200.00

Called my brother today, stating they were going to arrest me and file in my local district office trying to get me to pay a debt. Gladly called the company back and stated this has happened to me in the fall of 2013 and that I have filed a police report for identity theft and if they wanted to pursue me to take it to my local court and I would fight it tooth and nail. Upon hearing that they proceeded to say that they would just detail that I was not a willing participant to pay the debt off and would see me in court and hung up. I called back and asked for the name of the company and address. Stupid lady gave me: Kennedy & Klyne Assiociates, 440 Kings Street, Columbia, SC. And then proceeded to ask why i needed her address and then hung up. Then they tried to call me back. I am filing once again with the local police of identity theft :(

A little intense investigation reveals the address given is a middle school, Hand Middle school when you zoom in on the front of what appears to be the main door.

Folks should file a BBB report so this scam op is given a F rating to help get the word out its a scam operation ..
The website mentioned in another thread is non existent at this point.

This is very much a extortion scam operation MO.. the phone number is most likely spoofed as well.

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,CFB,FTC & FCC..

Me and my wife received a call from 855-803-2349 saying something about we needed to call them back regarding criminal charges in Smith County Texas. Never been there before. We called them back and they wanted 2600 dollars. Needless to say they got nothing. Report them to your local law authorities and the attorney general. Callers said they were Ruby Banks and investigator Tony Davis. What a joke.

These idiots called my house. Stated it was an "investigator" Victoria Salano or some such name. She said she worked for Kennedy and Kline Associates and I had 24 hours for me or my attorney to contact them or they would have a summons served on me by the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department at my home or business. Except they have the wrong number and wrong person. Never heard of the person they're looking for. Total bunch of lowlifes to actually threaten a summons/arrest on someone over the phone. Don't these clowns know people record this stuff? My attorney will love this, I have to have him do something for the retainer. They're a rip off folks, and not very smart ones.

Thank you guys for sharing your stories,, I have been soo stresses out.. It's so sad to know that people will do this to others... They have called my job and my ex mother in law.. Like I would use her for a reference... I also said that I needed something in writing but have yet to receive any? And it's been three years..

This phone number is linked to other numbers stating they have a court case against you and even give a case number all of it a lie but they do try to intimidate my family members.  They are liars and scam artists.  They need to be stopped.

These people are crooks! I sent a 9 page letter certified to their 440 King street address. it was returned. No such investigation service by that name. I contacted SC Bar, SC legal services , no such service listed by Kennedy and Klein kennedy/Clyne.

The SC Legislature  dose not them listed. Do not pay these dorks, I got taken, found out hard way. A former Jag friend
gave me tips on research. A real legit company sends a letter to party through the mail stating amount owed , client and a
number you call them on.

They can not issue a warrant to arrest Hitler. It is an outright scam. I filed FTC complaint.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employeers threating to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe).  Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested.  The threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot).  They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area.  The scammers are using the following business names

Kaufmann and Associates
Sanderson Blaine & Associates
McKenzie Reid Associates
Kennedy, Kline, & Associates
