Called after 9pm! I did not answer.

Caller I’d said Scam? Institute. I answered and they asked for my husband by name. I said he wasn’t available and he said ok. I hung up.

I agree, it is getting totally out of hand . I am so sick of all the sales calls. People go out and buy what they need, or order online.

Called ID says “political call” yeah, like I’d answer that one.

Blocked

I've received five calls this month from this number but never any message left - blocked it after the first one.  Decided to call it back from work and got a recording from the "Institute on Better Attitudes" wishing to conduct a scientific survey.  Better attitudes???

This number called my landline but either hung up before it had a chance to be blocked by my service or it was blocked immediately. Nothing came up on the caller ID on my telephone, however the name and phone number came up on my television screen since I happen to have it on. As I now do, I googled the number on its own and it is designated as a scam caller by my blocking service. They have marked it severe call activity, Robo caller, do not answer and last blocked  February 22, 2019. Other websites have reported that calls are from a fake political registry to credit card scam. My blocking service had a short transcript but it was just a male voice asking for a particular person. I would suggest not answering this call at all.

Called and asked for wife by name to take a short survey -  I said she wasn’t available - It was 8:30 at night

Call at 523PM Tuesday. Live young woman asked for me. I told her she had the wrong number and she wished me a good evening and hung up.

Called at 8:25pm left no message. Caller ID showed TOLL Free call. Sure is just another scam caller.

Got a call from this number too, but I NEVER  answer them.    While i appreciate this website for my goto on what was that number, my advice from the State Attorney general's office,  NEVER answer these calls.  When you do all you are doing to confirming for them that your number is a viable, working number and they will continue to call you back AND they will also SELL your number to other scam artists.  SO If you do answer then expect to receive even more of these type of calls.     By using these tactics I have successfully cut the number of calls we received down from 10- 20  per day to some days NONE !    Usually one or two, but that's it.  Now what we get is scammers using abandoned numbers.    These same tactics will work with them also.

One more thing, check with your local phone service provider as ours (and others) provide a "BLOCKING": service at no charge.  Convenient.    Also, if they are also calling your cell phone I use "SAFEST CALL BLOCKER". a FREE cell phone app that IF I get one of those calls then I simply hit "Add to list" and I NEVER  hear from them again !

I am on a no call list which makes me a person that does not want to be bothered.  Scammers use many angles to get private info including a survey.  I never answer a the phone even for people calling I know. I just call them back if they leave a message.

This number came up as caller ID INSTITUTEVOTER.This same number was used under this name way back in 2017 and probably before. I don't answer calls when I don't recognize name or someone I know. If the need me they can leave a msg which these kind of calls don't. I guess they thought if they used this kind of caller ID people would answer because it sounds legit.
