Called said doing a public opinion survey, asked them how many times I had to ask them to stop calling before I contacted a lawyer and they hung up on me.

Called from telephone number 970-293-8491.Sleezy DNC Pollster.  Makes you sick,  what has happened to the Democratic Party.

I got a call from this number and I let the answering machine take it.  No message was left.

To me there is little difference in a phishing scammer and a "survey or polling company"... they both want to obtain your personal information and preferences so they can use that information for their profit, or sell it to someone else for them to gain from that info.  Either way, giving them info is a losing situation for me.

Called almost bed time. Left no message.

Received call @ 1:53 PM (EDT). Caller I.D. showed: "TOLL FREE CALL". I did not answer and no message was left on my voice mail.

Not a scam? I live on the other side of the country, not in Virginia.

Never ever say "yes" to anything they ask you. They can use you saying "yes" against you at some point. That is a big no no !!!!

Same here.. A woman ask for Mr ( my husband's first & last name).  Cindy, We women must either be too smart for them or, they consider men easier marks..;). I've 9n occasion messed with them like, lie & day someone is @ my door & make them wait 20 minutes or, ask for their home number..

Dialed number back. Recording telling you they are taking a political survey on important issues. You can press a number to be recalled to take the survey or you can press another number to be removed.

Wow, look at the earlier dates for this number.
Don't believe they are legimate

Called again today, left no message but I will report this number to the FCC.
I never pick up the phone anyway if I don't know the caller.  Easier to just report this number.
