I answered the phone and the caller said he was doing a survey on voter choices.  I tried to get a word in and he just kept on going so I yelled at him to stop!  He paused and I told him to remove my name from his call list.  He said he would!

Called at 5:10 pm.  I did not answer, caller did not leave any message on my voice mail.   A legitimate caller would at least have a human being leave a message to call back.  Must be some scam operation just calling to be an annoyance.

Get calls from this number all the time. They leave no message.

Donald said it best. I will add the threating calls I get saying the US Treasury is filling a crimal action against me. Leaving a number for me to call for help. And that I'd better call! Scum bags!

There are numerous telephone and email scams in which individuals claim to be employees of the Treasury Department. These scammers often state that they are from the “Department of Legal Affairs,” offer grant money in exchange for you wiring a small payment, or threaten to arrest you within a short period of time unless payment is made. Do not provide personal information or payment to these individuals.  Their actions are crimes under Titles 18 and 31 of the United States Code, and the Treasury Office of Inspector General is working to stop them.

If they claim to be from Treasury, report  it to OIGCounsel@oig.treas.gov with a description.  If it was a phone contact, include:
the exact date and time that you received the call(s)
the phone number of the caller
the geographic location and time zone where you received the call
a description of the communication.

If they claim to be from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or it is about taxes, report it to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at:

This company's robocaller is getting too good to waste the time blocking the number.  They used to call four and five times using the same number.  Now they use a different number virtually every time, except for when they follow-up using a local number.  Blocked nevertheless.

Have this area code blocked - because gee only the scammers seem to use it.  The scam calls keep getting dumber and dumber - and even if you are an idiot it seems like you would recognize the scam, the 1000th time they call with the same tired nonsense.

Got this call also and they only wanted to talk to my husband and refused to talk to me.  I told them he wasn't home and I was blocking their call.  I figured it was a scam call because that's about all I get these days on my landline.  Love the comments and the Lenny calls.  I need a Lenny bot.

Received a call at 6 P.M.  Caller ID only said "Toll Free."  My call blocker requires them to identify themselves and to call back.  They didn't.  I will block this number.

Calls 1-4 times every month. CID 800 Service. Never leaves message

Calls consistently 1-2 times a week. When I answer they hang up. Never leaves a message. CID 800 service. Straight up harassment!!! When they leave no message, never talk to you but call you 1-2 times a week. They call for pure harassment because they can get away with it. I am being harassed by my home phone. Got rid of my cell phone I guess its time to get rid of my home phone. I don't see any other option anymore. Peace at home will come when i finally stop paying my phone bill. Think about it! Your paying to be harassed people in your own home! Not me, not anymore....

Yes Donald, I've had them all too  Your message of Feb 29, covers it, was great!!!!  We are so sick of receiving calls from these Public Nuisances.  There are some calling from Africa, attempting to scam the Americans.  I don't answer any of them, just look up the numbers.

We keep getting this call.  On our phone it reads toll free no.  My husband blew a whistle once, they still call back.

Be sure to keep entering in  "The Do Not Call Registry"...... I do everyday and a few months ago I received a $150.00 check from a class action lawsuit.... It was a mortgage company out of Ohio...... Most will not stick with it..... Do it though every night enter these scabs...... You never know..
