They've started this scam again. I got called about a year ago also, so when they said Wellcare, I looked up their #.  This is not their regular customer service # so I did not return their call!

Automated call claiming to be "WellCare" gave 855-958-9866 as the callback number, saying they need information from me. Doesn't seem legit. I will not call back.

Update: Confirmed the number on caller ID is not the callback number they gave. Caller ID shows Wellcare, but their number was 267-954-9957.

I got the same call.  My concern is whether WellCare has been hacked.  Is everyone who is receiving this call a WellCare customer

Just got the same call, I am a customer but I won't be calling them back.

Same WellCare call as others asking my name then my DOB. That was enough for me to cut the call.  WellCare has service providers in the Philappines that  makes me a bit uncomfortable when I have a service call issue.  Their main office is in Tampa Florida.

I just received the same phone call. I am a Wellcare customer but am not calling back.  Did not sound legit.

I got a call  that went to the answering machine today (Dec 10, 2019)  with the caller claiming to be from WellCare (which I have). But it seemed suspicious so I will not call them.

Received a call from Wellcare, when I called back, the call was an automated voice asking for personal information. I called Wellcare, and the first person I spoke with confirmed that the call came from there company and was gathering information of people that had Aetna insurance, and wanted feedback on their Aetna Policy. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke with Jada which first confirmed that the call was from wellcare. When I asked why and automated system was asking for personal information, she put me on hold. When she came back, she said the call did not come from WellCare, and to NOT provide personal Information. The real truth is Wellcare has contracted with a secondary company to call their new customers to gather information on the customers previous policy. I told her that I received a hard copy letter confirming my enrollment, and there should have been no need to provide the same information over again. What disturbs me is we signed up for WellCare on the Medicare website, so Wellcare received all our personal information. The question and what should be flagged is why Wellcare gave another company our personal information to conduct a survey.
BE CAREFULL WITH THIS COMPANY. Nobody should ever call you for personal information from you Medicare Approved Perscription Plan Company.

My caller id identified the call as "Telemarketer".

I let it go to voicemail.  Automated call, asking me to call back, they needed more information.  Applied for a new policy last month.  I never give out information to anyone that calls me on the phone, and never return robocalls....

no they keep calling leaving voicemail even if i try to block them
