Received the same message as everyone else about needing to update information.  Seems suspicious, so I didn't respond.  I typed in the 8559589866 number into a google search, and arrived at this page with all the others who have here shared their exact experiences.

You could give them bogus info like DOB is 29 Feb 1905.  Yes I know 1905 was not a leap year.

Thank you (and everyone) for your recent comments. I found a message from them on my VM yesterday and also thought it was a legitimate question about my account-- which I decided during the 2019 enrollment period to keep with Wellcare for a second year, so I wondered what the question could be. As others have said, they have all my information and there were no issues during the 2019 coverage year. I won't be calling back.

Scam said they were calling for WellCare.

Called said needed information to update...asked to verify my name answer yes if correct and asked if I wanted to continue the call answer yes...then nothing

I received a call as well stating they needed some more info from me 24/7 at. 18559589866.. I did not respond.. this is unnerving

I received the same message December 2020. Did not call back, thought it was a scam.

Thanks to all who have posted about this number.  I just received a call from them showing it coming from PA, not MO where Wellcare is located, so I let it go to voicemail.  You all saved me from waiting on hold only to find out it isn't them. Yea!!

Just got the same call as mentioned above. Glad I checked here. Shocked they have this info on me.

Got call to call this number 855 958 9866 message said it was WellCare needed call back for information. I was suspicious so called customer service they confirmed it was a false call and  number was not one they use.

Same as other reported.  It was very fishy,  displaying your local ID(like from your neighbor) while asking you to call this toll-free number.  Like the previous customer, I called Wellcare  888-550-5252 to verify that 855-958-9866 is from Wellcare for survey!  Wellcare is training their customers to divulge their personal information to scammers!  I immediately filed a complaint, against this practice. They will respond me in 30 days.  Everyone  gets this call should file a complaint so that they can stop this practice.
