Same numbers, same message.  We are responsible parties for my MIL and it stated her name.  After looking up the Wellcare numbers in our documentation and seeing this website, I'm not going to bother with it.  Not very professional of them and for it to go on so many years.....geesh.

I received the same call and did not call back. Sounds like a scam, what other information is needed and I am not giving out information over the phone. Beware of this type of calls.

Received voicemail that came up as a spam risk from "well care" stating call this number because they needed "to gather some important information." Did not call this number. Called the main office instead. Had my account checked. Everything in order. Do Not Respond to this number.

I just got same call same phone number, we do not answer calls we do not know, went to voice mail, I called it back it answered WellCare and ask if this was ( my name ) calling, I hung up, not Well care phone number and had already received note that my coverage was good for 2022, wo no reason for a call to get updated information at all.

I asked an insurance agent why we were getting calls from Wellcare when we are already Wellcare members.  We were told they are soliciting for their Medicare advantage plans.  Did not call back -- Joe Namath and JJ Walker are annoying enough! GEESH

Caller identified as WellCare, left voice message requesting I call back 1-855-958-9866 because they need important info on me.  Delete!
I never answer my house phone anymore. I have turned the ringer off.
Legitimate local businesses, pharmacy, dentist, doctors, work, family, etc., will always leave a message. If you are not on MY list, you are wasting your time...

We received voice message saying them were with Well Care and needed more info from my husband and left a call back number. The number did not match any numbers I had for Well Care so I did not return the call. Based on the responses on this site I am positive it is a scammer.

Same as others reported.  I've received this same voice message three times on three separate days.  The last call from from a Lexington PA number.  Did not return calls as numbers do not match any number I have for WellCare.

Received call from a computerized voice saying they were calling from Wellcare and needed important information from me. Since I have a Wellcare plan, this in itself did not seem unusual, but the computerized voice did. Checking Google for the toll-free number that was given (1-855-958-9866), I discovered this forum comprised of other Wellcare members receiving the same suspicious call. The Wellcare customer service number being 1-877-247-6272 also makes this call suspicious. Thank you to everyone for posting on this forum.

I should have added that the number showing up in my Caller-ID for this suspicious "Wellcare" call was 267-954-9951. Area code 267 is in the Philadelphia area. Wellcare main offices are based in Florida and Missouri. The Caller-ID also identified the call as being from Wellcare.

I received an automated call from the same number, 855.958.9866,  with the same automated message two times. The first time, I didn't call the number from the message, but I called Wellcare Customer Service to find out if it was a legitimate call and if they needed information. Unfortunately, Wellcare uses a call center that is overseas. The woman did not understand my question. I asked to speak with Wellcare in the US. She transferred me to another overseas call center! The second woman didn't understand what I was asking either.
I should have checked here first to find out if the call was a phish call/spam/scam call. I'm glad that I didn't call the number from the message and have blocked the telephone number from my phone. I will also add, if Wellcare uses call centers to represent their insurance plans, they should at the very least use a call center in the US!

The only people left who believe that hogwash also believe that JFK, Jr. who died in a plane crash in 1999 is going to come back to life in Dallas and run for President in 2024.  Everyone else know that it is a hoax and has absolutely no basis in fact.  Plus when you add in the fact that you didn't even get a call from this number, well, I guess the post will have to be removed for purposely posting false and misleading info and wrong thread.

This robocall number keeps trying to contact me. Identifying as Wellcare saying they need more information from me and to call back. I do have Wellcare but this is not their main number.
