Wow I can't believe it. I got today that exact same email. This a**hole put the same words except that he was sent to Spain and the car is the same and everything. Thanks so you guys for making these posts so those scammers don't get away, there should be something we can do about this. I fell in love with the car and the PRICE but i said to myself that it was too good to be true, and as i read today in another post and quote: "When it seems too good to be true it means... do your homework....""""" And thats what I did. Luckily I didn't fall into this fraud because I would have lost all the money I've won working my ass off. Thanks guys, I just needed to let you know this.

I saw an ad on craigslist but it was for a Nissan Altima,    same story, I just got divorced, need to sell asap.
and as I read all of these reports aka warnings, they aka he will get caught, he is using a real soldiers name i think  . we almost gave him the information he needed until my husband googled his name, I DID NOT hit the send button, we offered him cash, no answer

I got one too.  Even my hotmail security filter said this email was suspicious. I wonder how he expects anyone to believe he has ebay buyer protection when he won't even send the link for the ebay listing.

The same person scammed me i feel so bad now emotionally distressed. Same story same car lower price, but he said he is at Spain. Unlike you i actually sent the Money through Western Union. But when i got home i felt a strange feeling so i contacted eBay. And they told me they don't even allow payment through Western Union. So i stopped the Money Transfer. But i still lost the service fee.

Ok, I can lower the price at 1200 usd. The smog check was last made about three months ago and the car is still registered in the States until Oct. 2011, so don;t worry about that and yes, I do have the pink slip.

Hello it's Alex I just want to make sure that you don't have any traffic tickets on your car, and also need an information about due date for smog check and registration or when is the last time you did smog check and renewed registration on this car??? Do you own money to any bank for this car and do you have pink slip?? Will you be able to lower price at least to 1200$ because we are taking risk that something can happen during transportation (minor damages etc.) I still kind of scared of deals like that and my friends tell me not to buy this car because it's not even on the territory of United States and also I don't want to get myself in trouble because I read on internet recently that there is a lot of cases of contraband. I want to take risk to buy this car without looking at it but I want the price to be lowered a little bit please. Thank you very much for your answers.

I was looking at Craigslist and this was too good to be true, so I reply to the email this person provided, and all I asked was what is the location for this car??? and this is what I got. Then my dad replyed to that email also, and he got this same message. Scam for sure.

Thank you all for these comments.  I almost got scammed by this guy for 1200 for 2 superbowl tickets.  If it wasnt for my wonderful and amazing girlfriend,  i would have probably went through with the purchase and got scammed.  luckily she googled his name and came across this page.
