Well this guy is at it again in Phoenix, AZ this time.  I got the exact same email listed above after inquiring about the 2006 Tundra.  I was proceeding with caution but got a clue when I asked for a picture of the VIN on the door panel, title, and Odometer.  Suddenly he was no where to be found.  Stopped responding to emails.  I am glad I didn't put any money out but sorry to hear so many others have lost

Being a first time buyer I was cautious of how to approach this transaction over the internet. His 2006 Toyota Tundra is too good to be true.  After some research I found this site to afirm my suspicion of this deal. Take the advisment of EBAY deal with local dealers where you can meet face to face. Thanks for this web site it saved me $4800. Found ad on San Antonio's TX Craigslist.

Been scambaiting this scumbag for a while now. Operating under the name John Gallup (gallup.johnn@gmail.com and galup.johnn@gmail.com and gallup.john@gmail.com) a supposed MSgt in the USAF based in the UK, selling a 2005 Ford F150 for a ridiculously low $4850. Now wants me to send a MoneyGram to a 'eBay Motors Agent' (LOL) Borris Lindsey at 23 Byron Rd Preston, UK and fax the receipt to (858) 408-3555. How has this gone on for over a year and NO-ONE has stopped him yet? I mean good lord! I filed a complaint at ic3.gov - we'll see if it does anything at all.

I'm e-mailing with this guy right now using the same address....Have you ever reported this to anyone? Shouldn't he be caught by now?

So glad I started googling this ad..we almost made the same mistake. Almost identical emails from a guy named Michael Boykinn from the UK! I sure hope they catch whoever keeps doing this. Almost cost me $8800!!!! He's posted the ad again now in Boston for a 2007 Mazda CRX-7! Just to let you know!

I found this guy too. I was skeptical from the beginning, but I wanted to see where this all went. In my version he is going by Sgt. Scott Sathe. I went as far with him to send me a London address and a name of the "EBay agent" Travis Rudin. I google mapped the address and it is a legit address I think, but the funny thing is, this 858 number is local to me.. San Diego. I am wondering if I can forward this to local police and they might have some luck with rounding these guys up.

This guy has been trying to scam as well in San Diego Craigslist. Nice Toyota Tundra at a stupid low price. My scammer claims to be Sgt. Josh Driscoll USAF. I suspected it was a scam all along, but secretly wished it was not at the same time. I received all the "not so fake" looking emails from eBay. Even paid for the carfax to verify VIN and found a lien in Arizona. I called verified with Arizona MVD also, which saved my greedy butt. I replied to the seller about the lien on the vehicle and never got a response all week. I figured they gave up. Today got a short canned response asking if I sent the money yet. AMAZING!

Interesting that the 858 area code is right here in San Diego. Now I realize he has just wasted lots and lots of my time.

My teenage son was looking for a car and came across an ad for an AUDI A4 for $4875 being sold by Sgt. Scott Sathe in the UK.   I am so glad that we googled this - and saved my sons hard earned $$.  The ad is IDENTICAL to all the ones that have been posted here.  I want to thank everyone for posting your comments - much appreciated.  I certainly hope they catch this crook.

Doing it in NC as David Delozier 69 Denmark Street London, WC2H 8NL  UK and using "EBay Motor Agent Zachary Cordon  89 Dover Road  Swindon  SN6 7NA  UK.   My husband found this on *****list, I tried to tell him the first flag is Ebay doesn't hold money for items, they MAKE you use Paypal.  He got the emails going and the last one was the fake invoice!  I was going to file internet fraud but I see they already have enough and still aren't doing anything with it yet.  I thought about emailing this scammer everyday with stupid questions and tell him that the money had been sent just to try and weasel some type of info from him/her/them.  I think I am going to send an email to our local main stations and see if they will run a "short" warning cuz after the emails started with my husband, this "Delozier" relisted same 2004 Tahoe on *****list local to us ( I had my daughter email him an inquiry for the Tahoe just to see what he said to her = the exact same emails my husband got - word from word!!  The caller ID number below is from the moneygram central fax info.
