Wow you really got me convinced

Not sure if this is the case or not, but based on the things I have read so far in this thread it sounds like a scam of a particular type. Calling numbers many times a day trying to get you to call them back. Once you do you can get charged something like $50 a minute. Answering the call does nothing for them so they hang up or say something to try and get you okay with them or intrigued enough to call back. Do not call back a number you don't know and has not left a message.

I also have gotten calls, 6 so far in 2 days grrr

I reported this number on 6/30 2017 now calls from this number and is using in  a different ploy they say call cities client 1st they are a repersentive of cities bank and need to speak with me about my accounts to return their call to  866-680-8628 and any repersentive can help .  SCAM cities bank does not do business on restructured accounts this way and they do not represent citibank per cities bank.

Just received a call from this number. I believe this is a phishing scam especially since I am one of the people breached by the Equidax hack. I didn't answer my phone. I saw in the news the hackers are trying to get the people breached by the Equifax to confirm their identities so they can steal their identities and further hack their accounts. They already have info on affected people such as name, address, socials etc.

Okay I posted earlier that I thought this number 859 309-5128 was a scam because there is a strong possibility I was hacked in the Equifax debacle.   They first called on 9/18 @ 10:33 AM. I received a second call today 9/18 @ 1:37 PM. So I didn't answer but decided to contact Citibank since "Citibank" is what appeared on my Caller ID.  Although I don't have a bank acct. with Citi, I have credit cards issued by Citibank so I decided to call to see if they could verify this number. It turns out that this not a scam but a valid phone number. They are Collections for Citibank. The individual they are trying to collect from has the same last name as me, same gender and resides in the same vicinity as me. I explained to the gentleman that they did not reside at my residence and he thanked me for returning the call to straighten out the matter and said he would remove my number from the list so I wouldn't be bothered anymore. I'm glad I did straighten this out as I don't want negativity on my credit report due to someone else.

This number calls often. I never answer. These people are a menace. If it is Citi like some claim, then they need to do a better check of their records. I do not have a card with them. And if they are scammers, like I think, then they need to get a conscience.

The last twelve calls on my home phone have come from this number.  They have left messages that it is Sears calling about my credit card account.  I have never held a Sears card in my life.

Calls up to four times a day, never leaves a message. I have taken a photo of all the missed calls but can't post here. Who is this person? Picked up once and was hung up on so ignore ever since then.

Calling constantly no message

4 times per day, 20 days straight. They ask for last 4 digits of ss#. Have called Citibank directly, my account is current. Automated call. I don't know how to make them stop.
