A male with an Indian accent called on 10-15-15, and stated he was with "Geek Squad".  He said he was calling because of "Errors" my computer was sending.  I asked what kind of errors and he told me viruses.

I have received these calls before and Geek Squad and Microsoft both say on their website they will NOT call you with errors or make cold calls for service.

I started to screw with the guy, asking him weird questions about the computer, and then he got extremely rude and was swearing.  He also refused to let me talk to his manager.

These are nothing but scams and you need to screw with them.  They may remove you from the list then, I know he won't call me back.

This person has called 3 x's this week. Stop!!!!

I was in the hospital with my daughter yersterday and she got a call from this number, no today at exctly 24 hrs I get this call. Number is now blocked sick of the bull [***] people try to get away with.

Got the call this morning, had a Chinese man on the phone.  Geek squad script, screwed with him for a bit, then suggested he come meet me in person as we'd be able to communicate more clearly with each other face to face, and it would also make it easier for me to shove my laptop up his ###.  (That's when he hung up, go figure)

Got a call from this number today and the person on the other end declared to me that her name was Nora from the Geek Squad and wanted to talk to me about what is going on with my computer.  I told her there was nothing going on with my computer and she should remove me from her call list, she hung up without even saying "Goodbye!"   My husbands cell phone also shows the same number called his phone.

He'll take care of it.

Told me I had a problem with my computer. I don't own a computer

Call this morning (Sunday) before 9 am.  Hung up on me.  Then within minutes, my daughter got the same call.  Both on cell phones.

I truly believe the scam call centers in India that have access to our information, are getting it from the companies here in the U.S. that outsource. Has anyone not noticed there's been a rise in Indian scammers since the outsourcing has taken place? All it takes is a couple of dishonest employees who work in a legitimate call center to steal information when they are at work then later resell to dishonest boiler room call center. I really hope they start calling someone with power and money who gets so fed up with these thieves they can really make changes and either go after the scammers, phone companies and also come up with a working solution to this.

I got the fake Geek Squad version of the call a few minutes ago from this number.

No message left. I refuse to answer. They are calling my work on a Saturday.

Scammers. Don't answer!  Block em!

Answer and get no reply from the caller.  After saying hello multiple times, I got one hello in reply, then silence.  Then I hang up.

SCAM.  Indian accent.  Stating my computer was flagged as having a virus.  Wanted me to go to a certain website to download the scan.  He hung up on me when I said our IT department handles this.

Caller with a Norwich, CT  number.... was instructed to check my email and download computer software to stop virus from spreading.  So tired of this [***]... can't even talk straight English...call sounds like it's from India with a heavy accent... so hard to understand.  I told her to go to h*** and hung up

Similar to other comments.  Caller wanted me to log onto my computer; I told him no and hung up.  Isnt' there anything that can be done about these callers?
