I used to be a compter tech at a local college.  There is No way that computer viruses are going to notify some want to be Geek Squad about your computer unless you gave them permission to access it via you firewall and router.  I have both and this woman calls me up to tell me that they detected a virus on my computer.  So, I told her that this sounds like a Scam? As soon as I said this, she hung up on me, which is typical of a busted scam.

Folks, don't be fooled by these people. They try to prey on people who dont understand computers and get your credit card number to max it out.

Saw a "missed call" from this number and for some reason I called it. Got a message basically saying this number was invalid/not in service. IF I answer these calls, I typically hang up before they can finish their scripted speech. I'm tempted to just go along with it (minus my laptop) just to see what happens, but I don't have that kind of time, lol. I usually just block the numbers that can be blocked and ignore the rest. 😊

Windows support scam

Same people said to me after i found out who they where they said @$!# you from Norwich Connecticut

860-885-5399 called me twice. A young male with indian accent stated he was with PC solutions and that I was having problems with my computer. I do Not own a computer! Don't need one. I have a cell phone that does everything I need and lets me browse the internet when I want. I told the man to remove my # from their calling list of people to scam, for I do not have a computer and am not going to be his next victim. He started laughing and told me that I must have a computer. Wrong! Again I told him to remove my # and don't call me again. SCAM!!!

If the calls are going to your cell phone, delete and block the numbers permanently!!

No message left, when I called the number just to see if it was a good number, it came up not in service.   American Message is still being used as identification by this caller.   Blocked it with my Call blocker!

I received a call from this number on April 26th.  I didn't answer it, blocked it and checked this website for more info.  From Norwich, Conn. SCAM
