Caller wanted to speak to the person in charge of our commercial insurance. Would not leave a message with me, said he would call back another time.

A man called and asked for my boss. When I said she was not in and tried to screen the call, he got beligerant to me and said "I will go somewhere else"...as far as I'm concerned...it's good riddance. I forgot to mention that I asked him if it was a sales call...that's when he got so mad.

This is sad that individuals have nothing else to do with their time. Mark said he was from Blue Cross Blue Shield!!! Prank call just asking for my email address to update their records.

Said his name was Jim Dixon and wanted to talk the person in charge of our insurance.  Would not leave message.  Very rude. Obvisouly sales call.

The same guy called us today.  Very rude.  Said he was with Brown & Brown Insurance.  Wanted to speak to person in charge regarding our insurance. He called from 1-866-206-8844

Does not stop calling our office. Very very rude... does not want to say why he is calling.. claims his name is Jim Dixon.

Called today a lady said she was with anthem blue cross and they did not have an e-mail on file. Funny as I had recently signed up on blue crosses website, she told me it must have been with the broker. No it was anthems site. I said would she give me the web address and I would go in and do it myself. She said she couldn't. I thanked her for calling and said goodbye

Got a call from a guy who asked for the boss by name. Asked for his email address- was claiming to
be calling with time sensitive information from Empire Blue Cross..
I called back. Only reached a tape with no way to "0"- out...so, screwed with their phone system and reached the "main conference room"..same guy answers. I asked who I was reaching and he responded" You tell me?"- I aked what company I had reached and he said M&T Marketing...I responded that I must have the wrong #.
Sound familiar to anyone?

This number has been calling my cell for the last 48 hours- they have called 7 times and they do not leave a message. Very annoying

Caller was from or representing the Lyman Group in Seattle trying to set up a sales meeting regarding our business investments, etc.

I got this exact same call. Very Rude.

This same number called back in October 25, 2010 and said her name was Stacy Kilson from Brian Hearns office and wants to talk to our HR and she told me to tell her we were not interested. So today a guy calls from the same number but says he is Ray Miller from Brown and Brown. I couldn't reach our HR Dept so I asked him if he wanted to leave a message and he said yeah but in a snarky way. So this reads SCAM to me if they are the same number but saying they are two different companies. Also when you call the number back it is a generic voice message. It doesn't even say a company name.

This caller claimed to be with Anthem insurance and to need our company email address...which Anthem already has.  Do not give them the time of day.

RUDE woman called yesterday & today requesting to speak with our owner by name. Refused to believe the owner, who is ill, was not in and DEMANDED to speak to the owner regarding an "investigation." After seeing the information above, I called the number back and "Formally" requested to have our number removed from their calling list or our Company would file against them under the terms American Telemarketing Act.  If a Telemarketer calls you after you request removal you can sue them for $500 per occurrence.  I left this message on their generic voice mail system - no company name or info stated.

Keeps calling from this number.  Won't identify themselves.  Just keeps asking for the owner. Won't leave call back information.  A real pain on a daily basis.

Also received a call from Jim Dixon. Very rude indeed. I asked what his call was regarding and he repeated he wanted to speak to my boss but in a really nasty way. Then he was all "Here, why don't I make this easy for you. Is he available?" at which case I put him on hold for 2 minutes and hung up. The worst thing you can do to a telemarketer is waste their precious time!

Someone from 866-206-8844 has called repeatedly over the past week or so to my direct office line (I'm afraid a front-line person gave them my direct line- argh!).  We actually have Anthem BCBS insurance for our employees, and this call is definiately not from them, this is not how they get ahold of me for anything (I'm the HR Admin.). I know they aren't from Anthem- Anthem already has my email address and uses it frequently, and my record does not "need updating".  At best this is a solicitation for insurance, but it's probably just a scam with no legitimate business involved.

Has called several times for the owner; offer VM, but says they will call back.  We have now blocked them from bothering us in the future.
