Got a call from a rude man asking who was in charge of our insurance.  I called the number back and it was a fake recording saying the number had been disconnected.  Don't give these people any information.

Said he was Jim Miller from Strategic Planning Concepts. Number showed up as 866-206-8844. wanted to talk to our controller, I sent him to a voice mail box and he did not leave a message.

Received a phone call from this same number today.  After reading these posts, we know what to do with them -- we have ways of dealing with pesky telemarketers -- they are sent to "Telemarketer HE**".  Take that, telemarketers!

Wanted the controller or CFO. Very Rude. Got me on a bad/ busy day. He said the call was "not about a product or service" and "he needs whoever neck is on the if we were to get audited." Then he said "I mean business."

Sent him to a voicemail. hope he doesnt call back. : /

"Could you direct my call the person that is the dcision maker for your health insurance"?

I told them, "we don't offer Health Insurance" :) and hung up

Called and asked for owner by name.  When he wasn't available, she asked if there was another owner available. I told her no, she , wouldn't leave company name or any message; said she would try back later.  Of course she won't get through because she has earned my special scammers flushing toilet ringtone.

Said he was from V Coastal and wanted to set up a meeting with the company owner about compensation.  Really vague with answers and used way-out-of-date info for our company.  Prob a sales call.

Just received call from 866-206-8844  (toll free on caller ID), asked for our controller, we don't have one, as we are a laundry mat place, we rent washers and dryers to people to do their laundry.  Then he hung up.

Someone from 866-206-8844 has called twice today, first time no message, second time they just hung up. I tried to call back and you cannot call them as it says, your call cannot be completed as dialed please check the number and dial again. I hit Redial missed call.
If and when I get them I said sorry but you wont get any information from me if you do not know who you are calling in the first place and tell them to take this number off the call list and hang up. They are idiots what work here. One even called right back after I hung up on him.

I just got a call from 1-866-206-8844 claiming they were from Anthem Blue Cross.  The caller identified me by name and said that they were conducting an audit due to a database error and needed to confirm my email address.  Like an idiot, I gave it to them, but after I hung up, called the number back only to get a recording that said the number could not be connected.  Then I checked the number online and saw that there are lots of posts connecting it to a scam.  I reported the abuse to Anthem BCBS to alert them that their name is being used fraudulently.

Hung up when I answered on my cell phone...

I save these numbers in my address book with the name "SCAM - DO NOT ANSWER!".

Someone (on a forum for another scam phone number) also suggested creating a ringtone (if you can) with no sound so you don't even hear it. Haven't gotten that far, but will do so eventually...

Hmm...when I got a call it was "Kyle from Matt Morris' office", he asked for the owner by name, I put him into voicemail (obviously a telemarketer).  We'll see if he calls back.

Asked for the Owner, I said he was in a meeting then asked for a partner. I said what is it regarding. She said she was calling from Kerri Walkers office (Like that is suppose to mean something) That is their way of avoiding telling me who they are really with.
That wont get them past my desk and I am the only person that answers phones.

A girl called and said she was from Ben Smiths office and wanted to speak to my manager, which she ask for by name.  When I ask what this was concerning she said she was returning my managers call about a meeting.  The same girl called last week also.  I told my manager is not interested and take us off her calling list. Needless to say she was not happy!

Received a call from 8662068844.  The message is singing "I'll be watching you" silence then "every step I take" and cuts off.  Super creepy!!

A man named "Mike Scott" called for the president of my company. Well of course since my president is a busy man I screen all his calls. So, I asked what the call was in regards to and he said a meeting with Mike Willenburg. I replied, "will he know who "Mike W." is he claimed yes. On my way to check this fool out he hung up on me. What a moron! P.S. I KNOW WHEN YOU'RE FULL OF ****!

Just got a message from this call, it was some guy who must now or realized that the message was on. He was having a conversation with his coworker and even cursed.
He sounded like some thug!

A voicemail left from this number consisted of about 30 seconds of heavy breathing before the caller hung up...

Received two calls today from someone who identified himself Mike with the Haliman Group. Asked for the boss by his first name. I asked what he was calling about and he said fiduciary compliance. I put him on hold and he hung up. Called again with a different name and claiming the call was about fiduciary compliance. I told him to take us off his calling list although I don't believe that will stop him.
