Maria Carmack from "Reed Associates," a disaster prevention company, wanted to set up a meeting to discuss. Asked for my boss by name (got his gender right, which is always iffy with his name). She was very well spoken, but when I asked her company name, she hesitated, and said, "Yes. My company is... Reed Associates" like she had to consult her script to see what she was supposed to call herself on this call.

Received a call this morning from 866-206-8844.  Identified himself as "Tim" from Kelly Troy's office regarding a business meeting. I did not let him talk to my boss.

Have received several phone calls from 1-866-206-8844 when I could not pick up my phone. When I called back, response was only message "your call can not be completed as dialed". But that number IS working! They call ME. My phone number is in federal Do Not Call registry. What can I do to stop those callers? Thanks.

Woman called from this number. Said she was with Bruno and Assoc. wanted to speak with the owner. I asked what it was in regards to and she wouldnt say just wanted to know if she was here. I told her she wasn't going to speak with anyone until she told me what it was about and she hung up.

This is a scam, just look at the previous posts at all the different caller IDs. What company goes through that much trouble to hide their identity.......only the illegal ones

Got a similar call exept she said she was calling from LOGAN & ASSOC about a meeting with my boss.  When I pushed her about what her business does she hung up because I would not let her know whether or not the boss was in.  I get so many of these types of calls that I have to screen them all.  I always save the number in my caller ID with the name Do Not Answer.  I have about 50 of them now.

Left a message of "Ramon loves you" on my voicemail, called back and I got the fake operator saying this is not a real number.  They call but I never answer, it's flagged as phone scam.

The same person is calling every day and asking for the high profile people  and thier cell phone numbers, which he will never get from me. When I asked for his name and company name, he didn't want to leave his name. What these people are thinking?? that I would transfer call without getting his information. When I asked him, if we can call him on the number that I see, he said no. Funny, won't answer this call any more...

Institute of Something or other....did not get thru and won't either...hee hee

Wanted to speak with owners. Said they do compensation packages for high wealth individuals. Would not leave a call back #.

call from 866-206-8844.  Didn't give me a name or company name.  Asked for the owner - I told him he was at our home base in another country and asked if he wanted that number.  He quickly said no thanks.  That has stopped them from calling back so far.

Scam and very rude guy. Same guy that calls too! Do not give any information. When you put this guy on hold and come back 2 minutes later with another person and ask him to identify he gives another name and company!! Biggest scam!

We got a call today from this number who would not identify himself and was so rude I ended up disconnecting the call.

I just received the same phone call. Only, he said his name was David Buckley. I asked if I could take a message and he hung up.

This guy calls from 866-206-8844 daily.  He always asks for the owner of our firm by name and since I screen all of the owner's calls, I offer to take a message but he quickly says he will call back later and hangs up before I can ask him to take us off of his list.  When I call the number back I can only get a busy signal.  He has started trying ways of getting through to the owner (probably realizing I screen all of the calls) such as asking to speak to "Bill" (instead of William) but the jokes on him since our owner goes by his middle name!  I told him, "I'm sorry but there is no Bill that works here."  He got angry and hung up on me.  Now that I have read all of these comments about this number, I'm going to have a word with him the very next time he calls!!!!

Asked for the President of the company by name.  wouldn't leave his name or what he was calling regarding. Rude and pushy.

Woman called from this number, said her name was Anna Marie with Professional Benefit Solutions, and asked to speak with the person responsible for making benefit decisions.  She was rude and abrupt.  She interrupted me twice, and sighed heavily when I asked what her name was and what company she was with, like it was such a burden on her to have her call screened. I promptly put her through to someone's voicemail, and that's where she will go if she calls back.

Call from someone claiming to be David Buckley - calling administrator about a "business meeting".  Put him to her voicemail per her request.  Would not identify himself other than that nor his company.  Read most of prior posts -- will let her know.  Thanks all.

I received a call today from a “Mike Supridge” with “McNeal Freedom & Associates.” He asked for my boss by name, and I eventually got him to admit he was asking about our “fiduciary compliance/asset safety/retirement/insurance” etc. I said my boss, as the president, is too busy to handle those issues and is not the right person to talk to about those matters, and he responded, “Oh, I think he is. How about you just send me over to him.” After a few more questions he got very irate on the phone when I told him that I could not give him the name of the person that handles our information unless I know more about why he is calling. I eventually told him that we were not interested in any consulting services that they were selling, and he said he would rather hear that answer directly from my boss than from me. He got a massive attitude with me so I had a bit of fun with him yelling with me on the other end of the phone until he hung up and said he’d call again later. I said it was no use, because he'd have to get through me again. I called the number back to ask them to take us off of their list, but all I get is a busy signal. So, just a fair warning about this creep out there. He said some very rude things on the phone about women not knowing what they are talking and how about I just “do my job” and transfer him. I got a good laugh and hope he calls again. I think i will waste more of his time by putting him on hold over and over until he hangs up!

Called, and when I answered, he paused, and then very quickly said, "Hi-I'm-looking-for-John-Davis" then hung immediately up like he knew he'd messed up, forgot who to ask for, and asked for the first common name that came to mind (OR that was his ploy). Either way, adding to blocked list. Dumb bunny.
