Caller asked for the person who handles our benefits. Told her that our benefits person has left for the day. Said she would call back tomorrow.  2 minutes later, same number called and asked for our owner by name.  Obviously went to our website to see who she could reach. Told her our owner was gone for the day, and asked if she has just called asking for our benefits person. She said No, and abruptly hung up.

When the caller asked for me by first name only I didnt really pay attention..at first. She then proceeded to ask for my email address, when I asked who she was she said "I am from Anthem and trying to update your information". I am not sure why buy I did give her my email. The next day I had ALOT of fraud show up on my credit card!!! DO NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION WITH THEM.

They call often asking for the company owner and, if you ask who they are, caller will make up a company name such as "from the office of Mike Ross".

They call EVERY DAY. The person they want will never answer....you'd think at some point they'd realize that.

This a*s*o*e keeps calling for my boss and when I ask for his name he hangs up. Hey stupid, you have to go through me first. Jokes on you!

now that I have caller id, I let the phone just ring.....very rude people. Get a life.

Guys calls- says his name is Justin and he is calling from Richard (Somethings) office- asks for my Boss by first name...I ask which one because we have several people with the same first name. He gives me a legit last name and I ask what the call is regarding and he said basically- "i am calling from so and so's office (siad he was in Orchard Park) to schedule a meeting for executive discussion of business matters..." or something close to that....
I put him on hold, looked up the number, found the reports on this site (YAY for 1-800 notes!!!) and then rolled him directly into voice-mail.

Some guy calls asking for the owner. He told me he was from David White Assoc. I was instantly suspicious since he kept avoiding my questions. I told him the owner wasn't available and he could leave a message. He goes on to ask if another owner is, and I tell him no again. He just tells me that he'll call back later. I'm glad I didn't give him any information since is looks like it's a phony company.

Claims Her name is Julie from Bill Butlers office. Ask for Executives but would not give nature of the call.
I could tell it was spam right away. She was rude and very direct. Get a real job.

Said it was a local call about business succession planning. I listened for a while. The person was very courteous, but I told him we didn't need the service and we hung up rather amicably. I was irritated that he kept calling me by my first name because then it began to sound more and more like a script.

"Victoria from Michael Moore's office" asked for owner by name.  I'm actually surprised that she knew this one because he goes by his middle name.  She was actually very pleasant.  Says it was regarding the property casualty insurance and needs to discuss it with him only.  I'm so sorry, he just picked up his line and is not available... can I have him call you back?  not that I'm going to put you thru to him...I screen all his calls anyway, so you have to get past me first.  don't these idiots have anything better to do than to scam us hardworking americans out of our hard earned money?  go get a real job!!

This number called and I spoke to a man named Mike Suprage...completely rude after I told him the owner was not available, this is the second time he's called and been nasty to me...not how you get business Mike!

Woman called and asked for my boss, told her she was unavailable.  Said she would call back.  This morning she calls back again for my boss, I asked what company she was calling from and she said after stuttering a bit Morrow Corporation.  I knew it was no one we do business with and since she sounded unsure of what her company name was I just put her on hold and left her there until she hung up.  Let them waste their time on hold.

Some flustered-sounding woman asking for general manager by his first name (very common) so I asked her which one she was looking for as we have several people with that first name.  She said the one who handles employee benefits and stammered around saying something about calling for Shelly - from Shelly's office to talk to him about our employee benefits.  I don't believe the company name ever came out of her mouth but I'm not positive.  She hung up relatively quickly after being put on hold.  =)

Repeatedly calls. I hang up and they have called back 4 times.  Number is 866-206-8844  Identified himself as Leroy Snodgrass.  Answers phone by saying "Hey, how you doing".  Gave name and I hung up.  He called back 4x and I took phone off hook.

Wanted to speak to the business owner.  The caller talked like he actually knows the owner--not the case.

Caller said his name was Christopher Davis.  Asked for the owner by name. Wouldn't leave a message with me.
