- RPM makes no sense replies to SolutionsI don't understand what these people are trying to achieve by constantly calling and hanging up. The one time I got a person on the other end they were looking for someone I have never heard of. I explained this to them and still they keep calling. I guess they can claim to whomever hires them that they are "doing something" without actually attempting to resolve anything.
Anyway, the next time thy call and hang up do the same thing. Call them relentlessly for an hour or two. Just hit the redial, wait until someone answers and hang up. Repeat for as long as you can.
When I did this it seemed to piss them off quite a bit. I got to know everyone in their office and hang up on them. At times they would try to threaten me or call me back but I would just ignore them and continue. Funny how they seem to be offended by the vary methods their business model is based on? - work for RPM, earn $15 p/h to be a tool! replies to dumbWho is the idiot, dumb? Anti-harassment legislation calls for a "written notice to cease and desist". Though, texting may not have been intended in the statute at the time, it is written notice and traceable. It might be interesting to see how the courts deal with this one.
- jasmineThey call me all the time... looking for somebody else. I just let it go to voicemail.

- Popeye replies to DavidBeing responsible for ones actions is the purest form of maturity, however your instance is different from most others interaction with RPM.
In many instances, RPM is acting on information, that does not consider both sides of the story (or truth). - gregs238please give info on lawsuit...I have had the phone co call them 2-3 times and tell them we are paid in full and still calling 20-30times a day hanging phone up on us and telling us we need to pay our bills..we gave them conf# of paid in full sent them E-mails and still 20-30 times a day

Iamgetting calls also- Call type: Debt collector
- AMI was getting calls from this company on a daily basis back in 2007, they kept telling me I had a past due balance with AT&T. I have never had an account of any kind with AT&T. After about 4 harrassing months the calls stopped, but lucky me I am back on their radar and the calls began again last week. I called them today just to see what kind of garbage they were spewing now...and you won't believe it, I owe AT&T again. I told them nice try, but I've never had any kind of account with AT&T, they had the nerve to argue with me and say that I have. I told the women (she was no lady) that she needed to stop calling me, I just recently purchased a new vehicle and checked my credit report, AT&T is nowhere on it. She kept insisting they had to be. The NERVE of these people. If they persist, I will seek legal action.

- Liz replies to SolutionsI got the call from that same number and made the mistake of answering. I did get an actual caller but it was for my hubby and of course lied when he wouldn't tell me why he was calling. since I have no interest in talking to a possible collector I told him I was the babysitter, took his name and number and what the call was regarding. sufficate to say he only said it was "personal". and from washington. I wonder where I left that caller id. hmmm
- Liz replies to HelenI say forget them and don't bother. if you don't really owe them anything then they aren't worth your time
- JORIYes they just called and I told them never to call my business line again.

- M&M replies to OrsenI called RPM, after I received a very nice request...almost casual, like a buddy.... I was asked to call their 866#. I chose to call from an 800#, and when I got a rep (who was not nice), I advised him that this call was being recorded. He immediately changed his tune! He ended up saying, pay us, when it is convenient for you. Obviously, they do not like being recorded!
- AnonymI don't owe anyone a cent. RPM has harassed my mother and now me for an AT&T balance. I have never had them and do not know what this is all about. I was in the Marines when this so-called account with AT&t happened. I didn't even know AT&T was still around
I found this site tonight and have a new number for you guys...

- Vicki Bthey started calling me about a week ago on a "debt" that i haven't heard from anyone in almost 2 years - i have been fighting this since sept 2005 - it was a $20 late fee on a credit card payment which i incurred because i never received the statement in the mail - i requested WFNNB to write it off but they never did - they started adding interest and late payment fees to the $20 they said i owed - i always pay my cc bills in full so none of what they are asking for is for merchandise - it was strictly a late fee dispute - i cancelled all my WFNNB accounts (Maurices, Victoria's Secret and Limited) - it is now over $235 - i laughed at the guy from RPM when he told me that - he said they were prepared to offer a settlement and i told him i would give him the same amount i have offered all the other collection agencies that have come before him - if they will leave me alone i will gladly pay the $20 late fee even though i still dispute it - he said that wasn't even close - i told him send me something in the mail and i would fax him all the past correspondence with the other collection agencies - he said i have been flagged as unresponsive by mail - i told him i never received anything in the mail from them - i figure he just has an old address from a place i haven't lived in 2 years, but i didn't volunteer my new address - i figure if they can find my phone number they can find my address

- DonnaMy mother who lives in California just received a call from a very rude gentleman named Tim Lease from RPM looking for me (I don't live in CA) telling her that is was in my best interest to call him back. Funny I have never received a phone call myself or anything in the mail detailing what this would be in regards too.
