- Mrs ZThese people have called us for several weeks now. Finally yesterday when I answered an automated voice asked me to hold, finally a rude woman got on asking for my husband. I asked her who she was she got real rude with me.She told me to have him call, no name just the 866-212-7408 number and gave me the name RPM. I found many websites about them and when i tried to call back through my phone it was an answering service for an unrelated company. If I dialed directly, it kept going around and around asking me to hold for the next available person. My husband doesn't owe anyone, and I just called a number from their website got a guy who told me to hold he was on a call with another customer.

- Mrs ZAlright, I just finally got through to a Ryan at RPM at he tried to play a game, he started claiming he couldn't access any info through my phone number, he wanted my SS number not even my name. Then when he got my number he said some strange name of a woman, then when I gave my husbands first name he used a last name close to ours, and I said no. I feel something more sinister is going on at RPM. Way too unprofessional to be any real kind of business. Maybe this is someone who stole information from some where.Too many odd things are going on in an unprofessional and criminal like manner. When I called back yesterday through my phone a woman answered from an answering service the company she was answering for was not RPM, then after hanging up and dialing the number, suddenly no answering service and an automated system that kept going around in circles. TO be an alleged collection service they surely don't act like they want to collect and resolve any debts.

- JonathanMy father-in-law received a call from 866-212-7408, and asked me to speak for him and I did. The last sentence felt threatening, and I transcribed our last exchange at the bottom in quotes. He also said I couldn't have any information if he my father-in-law did not state permission for to speak in his place. Therefore I was unable to get any other info aside from what is listed.

- EW| 2 repliesWow, what a trip! I've been getting calls from these jerks for weeks, then I google the # and pages& pages of complaints pop up! So many I can't even read them all! One message (on this site), the person said they made arrangments and paid, then they said they called the company (AT&T) and they didn't even owe anything! I'm glad I didn't go that route! And whoever wrote that, and everyone , Thanks for the education on what I'm dealing with! It seems someone should print all of these complaints and send them to someone/some agency/some lawyer who can do something! Can you say "Class Action Law Suit" boys& girls!

- Axman replies to NJThey are scavenger collectors, most debts they try to get are all bought from companies all SOL, and they try to collect on, Statue of limitations, law, the companies right them off, the fair debtors act,
- ec replies to EW| 1 replyHere's the best way to stop the calls. Send RPM a letter directing them to cease all attempts to communicate with you and warning them that if they don't comply with your cease-communication request, you'll gleefully pursue every applicable legal sanction against them. Here's their address:

Just be sure to mail it via *certified US Mail with a return receipt request*, and save a copy of your letter. If they contact you more than once after receiving your cease communication letter, then they are breaking the law and subject to fines for each incident.

Good luck! - Daniel"Please hold for a very important message."
"All our agents are currently busy. Please hold for the next available agent."
Twice a day for 3 weeks now - usually the line disconnects because the agent is too busy to answer. However, I did get one agent one afternoon who disclosed that she was from RPM and it was about a $464 debt owed to Sprint, not our local carrier. She said Daniel would know what the call was about and left the 866-212-7408 number for him to call back. One other time I pretended to be Daniel -- she wanted to know what arrangements I wanted to make to pay the bill. I complained about the harassment. And she hung up.- Caller: RMP

- Tam replies to Orsen| 1 replyI get calls all the time from this company for the person who previously had my number. For the last 4 months I keep telling them they have the wrong number and it was a new listing for a new customer, but they continue to call every day, even with me threatening to notify the FCC and other authorities. They even have asked me if I knew the person they were looking for.
