Called my home 4 times within 2 minutes. It begins as a recording that they are calling in regards to a formal complaint that has been filed against one....(robo voice pronounces my name)....recording continues. If there is any information that leads to the whereabouts to please call the number.

They have called me twice now ---- I don't know what to do.
So do I just leave this and let go to voice mail. Which last call they did not leave a message.

Reported to fbi. They said not to worry, don't say nothing to them and hang up and call back if they still bother me. they out to scam people.

Definitely scam.  We should all call them from a dedicated fax line and keep it in redial!

I have been getting this message on my answering machine for two weeks. The person they are calling about died three yrs. ago. So who knows what kind of scam it is.

They keep calling saying they have a complaint against my sister.

Got another call from these idiots at work and didn't answer.  I did however call it back last week and told them to send me EVERYTHING they had on file for me.  If a formal complaint has been filed, why haven't I been served a Summons & Complaint?  They couldn't answer me.  She said, "Good luck in court."  I've been a  paralegal for 20 years.  And, I believe that payday loan companies SELL your info if you've had a payday loan in the past, which I have.  But, she said it was back in 2013 and had a lot of info, but I believe my info was sold.

Received a message from this number stating a formal complaint has been filed against me and to call back the number. I called but mailbox was full. They also called my mother in law and left same message and called my brother in law twice leaving same message.

Called left voice mail on both my brother's and my cell stating someone wedge a formal complaint against by brother's wife. We have no communication with her.

Got a call looking for my daughter, said a fraudulent  complete on her, how do they get a hold of her.  I'm also on the do not call list so don't know how they got my number

Just got a call while at work saying a complaint was placed against me and they need to know my whereabouts. I called number given they said there is a loan with cashnet done online against Hudson Valley and I was working at BCBS in NY in 2011, they have my last four of social and I live in AZ since 2007 never took a loan out online!!!

That was probably Coastal, a well known criminal enterprise pretending to be debt collectors/process servers/lawyers/ whatever else you or they can think of.

Criminals masquerading as debt collectors attempt to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged (they use the bad check or hot check claim a lot) and go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished without actually being sued or going to court, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your family, friends, neighbors and/or places of employment (past or present or both) to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money.  They will use the words “Mediator”, “Arbitrator”, or “Law Office” to make you believe that they are something other than a debt collector want-a-be and that they don’t have to follow Federal and State collection laws.  They do have to follow those laws, but they won’t.  They mention that they have received a Fax document, to create the sense of urgency.  They also tell you that if you fail to call them back you are "waiving your right to council", which is pretty much nothing but hogwash.  They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number where they will ask for money to “make it go away” (this is actually the same place, they work in teams, one pretending to be the server, and the other usually pretends to be a lawyer).  Process servers do not ever call ahead so that you can dodge them.  Process servers get paid to serve papers, nothing else.

Got a call from this number check the system by pressing an extension and got somebody they mentioned a Wells Fargo account that I never had

They have called me 3 times today asking for Patricia Tadler saying it is regarding a formal complaint against and to please call this number it is urgent.  No idea who this Patricia Tadler and am getting so sick of these calls.  There has got to be a way of stopping them.

This number has been calling me for months.  I've gotten 3-4 calls just today.  Is there anyway i can file for harassment ???  I know it's a scam.  They have even called my cousin asking for me and she lives stays away.

My mom got a call from this number asking about me. She was in a panic asking me who did I owed money to. I have not done any business with anyone or borrowed any loan for over 15 yrs. This is a scam. Do not fall for it

Most likely the infamous  “Coastal” or CFS scam.  No idea where they are located.  Call from a variety of numbers for several years now. Ignore and block any calls received from this “Coastal” group. Sometimes uses the CID of “Coastal Litigation” or Coastal Pre-litigations. Also using something called "Lakeside Mediations"  and "Legal Review Services as their CID.  Also “First Point”.  There are several groups with the letters CFS in them.
May now IDing themselves as “Western”.   Also may be using a CID of WNL.

Report them:

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

These people keep calling and leaving a message for "Linda Anhill" saying they are ready to start taking "Legal Action". They have been calling for at least 2 years. Initially we pressed the number to tell them no such person resided here and asked to be removed from their call list. The calls continue despite reporting them to the DNC Registry. They also called us from number 2028369604.
