Oh they won't eh? You're funny. They constantly call THIS wrong number.

They are people who couldn't get a job sucking dicks on street corners so they became telemarketers/debt collectors. Lowest of the low.

I have gotten several calls from this number.  They said they are calling on behalf of American Express and asked me to give personal information before they could continue.  They would not budge and neither would I give them ANY information.  I even asked if they were a collection agency and they wouldn't even answer that.  I have never had an account with American Express, so I told them to give me 15 minutes to check out who they were.  Their company name was Gatestone.  I called AmEx customer service and told them what was going on.  They did some checking using my SSN (which I gave them because I CALLED THEM).  They said I DO have an account with them and created a case to dispute it.  They advised that Gatestone IS a company they work with, so they ARE legitimate, and that I SHOULD work with them.  This came directly from AmEx customer service, who I CALLED, so I believe this is good information.  BOTTOM LINE:  The company is legit and somebody has fraudulently opened an AmEx account using my info. It is reasonable for them to try to collect their money from me becuase until I start working with them, they have no way of knowing they have the wrong guy.  I will give them what they need to get the call started, but will then work directly with AmEx to resolve it.  There is no reason for me to work with a collection agency when I am working directly with AmEx to resolve this fraudulent account issue.

This company name is called - collect corp. They collect for American Express. They share you information with third parties. They are very verbally abusing. I will NEVER pay American Express a dime, due to the way this third party company treated me. I used to be a 800+ beacon score. Things happen in life- there is no reason for anyone to talk to you like this. I called American Express before I lost my job-trying to work things out. They told me to go fly a kite. So I am. I am filing chpter 7 BK. So they can kiss my ASS. Meanwhile do you know what they did:

They called from a spook number- meaning from a fake number in my area code looking for me. LMAO- When I called that number back, the number went to our local Sherrifs office. They try to scare you.hahah.

I need to know how to file a complaint because I'm currently in CANADA.

The are calling constantly, non stop, every single day -- even as late as 9pm at nite. They are constantly harrassing me!!!!

I will never ever do business with American Express after the way my wife and I were treated during the hard times in the early 2000s,  Ever heard Dave Ramsey talk about them?

The caller asks for someone with the last name of Simmons.  No one named Simmons works at this company.  I explain that to the caller, but I receive numerous calls daily from this number asking for someone named Simmons.  If your agency can do anything to stop these calls, please do.  The next step is to report the number to the Ohio State Attorney General's Office for action.  Thank you.

They called, looking for my ex-husband.  Nice to know that loser hasn't changed his stripes.  LMAO!!  He ran off with another woman five years ago when I was deployed.  When I tried to confront her with the affair, she lied to me, saying they were "just friends".  Right.  Because "just friends" spend 3,900 minutes on the phone during all hours of the day and night, exchanging 1,600 texts during that same period.  Because "just friends" move from Georgia to Alaska to live with each other when he's still married.  Because "just friends" get married three months after the divorce is settled.  Just friends.  How sweet.

She can't say she wasn't warned.  I told her about his lies and the problems he has, spending more money than he makes - which was a huge problem in our marriage.  But now he's her problem instead of mine.  BAHAHAhahahahaha!!  Good riddance.

I had a AMEX for 32 years,, Charged everything on it, used the points for travel..  Then my company was  sold, lose job , late twice on AMEX they cut me off and hold my points hostage tell me it just business,

After a third of a century and over 2MM , they just do not care,,, I will pay them off when  hell has a Snow day....

Check your state Atty General Office there are laws as to how often they can call WHO they can call and what they can ask you to do - they CANNOT ask for a post dated check in most states  - if they speak to you they cannot call you again for 7 days - they cannot call before 8:30 AM or after 9PM. They cannot discuss your business matters with anyone who is not on the card - if they call your neighbor they cannot legally tell them why they want to speak to you - but they will at that point they are breaking the law...You CAN ask them to stop calling you but get a mailing address first, then mail a letter stating that they cannot contact you by phone  from that point on, only by mail, be sure to say at home at work and by cellular phone. CC the letter to your state Atty General  and be sure to mail it!

Check your state fair debt collections act - you have rights,.

I am on a do not call list-the number stated american express-I do ot hav an american express card. my phone said that I had a message-all I heard on the other end was someone breathing and perhaps chewing gum.

Don't even bother to pick up the phone. They'll harass you. ****w 'em!

They called and said they had important business with me. They called their company Date Stone and said they were hired by American Express due to our so called delinquent bill. I called American Express because I had no delinquent bill. It is a fraud caller.

Had a call from this number also,they said we had a very past due American Express account. Don't even have an American Express account. Some kind of scam, I would not give them any info that they wanted. Had my husband and son's name, don't know how they got that.

I got a call and I pay off every month. What gives
