Keep calling for my 8 y/o son saying he has medical
Debt. Told them not possible as he is a disabled little boy on Medicaid. When I ask for more information they refuse to give me any info saying it can only be released to him....lol told them sure get on Skype and sign it out to him. Idiots.

it is a debt collector for medical bills that have went past due by 3 months,its not made up or a hoax,they are H&R ACCOUNTS

They have a bad habit of not stopping calls even when they are calling the wrong person

This is H&R Accounts, out of Moline IL. They're also in Iowa. They want your money, I saw Medical and this is correct. I had an encounter with them last year and I won.

Yes, same issue they are a legit collection company. H&R accounts.  I had some medical bills from a ER visit and went out of the country and came back to find I was behind 2-3 months behind and had been turned over to them.  They are actually easy to work with.  Can pay online or over phone.  

They will put the collection on your credit so FYI pay or work out ASAP as once they are contacting you its going on your credit very shortly after.

Guessing this must be some sort of collection company. Called the number back and it is HR Accounts.

Illegal for debt collectors to phone that late.  Look up your FDCPA regulations.  I use to be a debt collector.

they call me incessantly but never leave a voice mail.  must not be too important.  :)  i know it's h&r.  good luck garnishing my wages for $150 when I don't have an employer.

No one here is calling you and it is unlikely the debt collectors read these posts, although some do.   Call blocker might help.

Joe Water or Walter called from 866-276-0922. He said to call him back at 319-832-2065. Haven't called him back, but makes sense it'd be H&R Accounts as we just got a notice from H&R concerning a past due McFarland Clinic bill in Ames, Iowa. Number is also identified as MCI Metro in reverse look up.  I called the toll-free back and got H & R Accounts. When I called 319 number kept getting busy signal. Funny is we've been making monthly payments to McFarland, and just late by a month or two. But we had filed bankruptcy four or so years ago, so I suppose we're on their "short list" of debt agency referrals.

H n R Accounts is a legitamate debt collector, usually medical regardless of what state your in.They are actually very easy to work with and the minimum is $25/mo. Just make sure you hang on to every receipt. The agent who called me was very nice, thanked me for not hanging up on her and I in turn thanked her for bearing with me when I verified who she was and who she was with before I said I was who she was looking for. Not happy about being called at work but she was ni e about it, didnt give information to anyone but me and easily told me who the medical bills were to which I already knew. I didn't have to ask for a written notice as she voluntarily sent it. I told her when I can start paying, tjere's a lical office near me so I can either pay in person by phone or online.
When in doubt call your doctors billing office to verify that they use H & R. You can also talk to your doctor's billing office and asked for a forgiveness of the debt.

My boss has zero tolerance for these calls. I lost my job over these [***]. Now I have no way to pay off the debt.

Here is what you need to know this is an action to collect a debt when you get a call from them . first off dispute the claim I don't care if it was true almost all medical hospitals are non profit which means they do not pay Federal tax , so in return for this action they are suppose to offer financial asstiance but instead of offering it to you they sent ur bill to collection for this reason you can dispute  the complete bill! And say it should of been covered by the assistance program! And if they say they will sue to collect don't miss that court date the judge will laugh hr accounts out of the court room , but if you dont show and this is what they count on it chargeable default you should never have to pay hospital bill  unless you are rich
