You're a schill for a collection agency that harasses people, calls for people at their place of employment despite being told to stop, attaempting to collect for sham hospitals milking the ACA.

I told you're agency to stop calling and sue me, you have a list of people at the hospital and your agency who will be called to court, you even have a list of the documents you and the hospital will be asked to produce in regards to unlawful price fixing schemes with out of state suppliers to maximize insurance milking.

So when you go to the Hospital and receive medical treatment, there's no cost to that? There's nobody that needs to be paid for doing their job? Maybe next time they refuse services unless you pay up front? Get a clue, yes its expensive, but its because of people like you that would rather dodge bills in the mail and debt collection calls that we all pay more. As for minimum payments, think of if this way. If you owe the hospital $1000, $10/month isn't going to cut it. Just because it's all you're willing to pay, doesn't mean its an acceptable amount. Try paying $5 or $10/mo to be cute and you'll probably get your wish to see them in court.

This number calls and when I answer it they hang up. I call back and the number says it is disconnected and no longer in use?!!?!?!??

This is H & R accounts, a debt collector. I have dealt with them a few times, since we have had many bills from my husband's illness. They are very polite and willing to work with you, as long as you treat them cordially.

You know you can get that bill cut in half. They buy this stuff for penny's on the dollar. So if you offer half the amount they usually don't argue. At least that's been my experience. Yes I know this is an older thread.

Its a Debt Collector for Medical Bills. I called back because they are trying to find someone who had my cell number before me. The gal was very courteous and had great customer service.

John that would be true if they were a "Debt Buyer". However they appear to work for the Hospitals and don't own the accounts. I suppose there might be some wiggle room but nothing like you're probably thinking. That whole "Pennies on the dollar" thing is internet hogwash.

This # keeps calling and then not speaking to me. So if it was a legit collection (been paying my bills every month ) they have lost their chance to talk to us. They can just mail any future correspondence.

This company is H & R Accounts PO Box 672 Moline IL 61266.  They do collections for medical facilities primarily.  Unfortunately even if you are still waiting for your insurance to dispute every charge ever submitted and pay what they are supposed to pay you are still responsible for the amounts owed.  Most medical facilities will work with you as long as you are communicating with them regarding the debt and making your payments that you have set up with them. If you just ignore it or fail to keep your payment arrangements they will send you to collections and you do still have to pay it.

Got four calls in a row with no message, I have to note it's a little strange the amount of people here shilling for H&R accounts as this is a forum to find out who called you.  I'd be interested to find out why so many are here coming to their defense. That said I do have a medical debt but it's being paid off in a timely manner. So maybe leave a message next time since clearly many employees have been visiting this post.
