- BigA replies to Joe| 2 repliesYou do know that you have just replied to a 7 year old post don't you? "first off dispute the claim I don't care if it was true almost all medical hospitals are non profit which means they do not pay Federal tax" So this has to do with them colloecting a bill because of what? Because they don't pay taxes? They still have operating expenses. "so in return for this action they are suppose to offer financial asstiance" Well this badly spelled sentence leaves out the fact that you need to apply for that assistance and to qualify for that assistance. "instead of offering it to you they sent ur bill to collection for this reason you can dispute the complete bill! " Not sure how you came to this conclusion, read my prior sentence. " And say it should of been covered by the assistance program! " Not a valid defense. "the judge will laugh hr accounts" If this company presents a avalid argument, the Judge will not be laughing at them, but finding against you. "chargeable default you should never have to pay hospital bill unless you are rich" Chargeable default, what the heck is that? Did you even do some research or are you simply making all this up?
- Dink Stover replies to Joe| 1 replyJoe, did your brains get scrambled when you came back through the time portal? I warned you about huffing lacquer right after time travel. But I like the cut of your jib Old Boy. Back under the bridge with you now.
- Mary replies to Dink StoverIf there was a like button for your reply, I would hit it.
- Mary replies to LindsThey probably said HR, which stands for Human Resources.
- Uh huh replies to Iowa| 2 repliesMinimum? So if I tell them I'll pay $10 a month they'll refuse? Hey Judge? I made a good faith effort, they refused to work with me...
You're a schill for a collection agency that harasses people, calls for people at their place of employment despite being told to stop, attaempting to collect for sham hospitals milking the ACA.
I told you're agency to stop calling and sue me, you have a list of people at the hospital and your agency who will be called to court, you even have a list of the documents you and the hospital will be asked to produce in regards to unlawful price fixing schemes with out of state suppliers to maximize insurance milking. - CWG40https://www.avadynehealth.com/

- Keepin IT Real replies to Uh huh| 1 replySo when you go to the Hospital and receive medical treatment, there's no cost to that? There's nobody that needs to be paid for doing their job? Maybe next time they refuse services unless you pay up front? Get a clue, yes its expensive, but its because of people like you that would rather dodge bills in the mail and debt collection calls that we all pay more. As for minimum payments, think of if this way. If you owe the hospital $1000, $10/month isn't going to cut it. Just because it's all you're willing to pay, doesn't mean its an acceptable amount. Try paying $5 or $10/mo to be cute and you'll probably get your wish to see them in court.
- DianeDedt collector!
- TiffThis number calls and when I answer it they hang up. I call back and the number says it is disconnected and no longer in use?!!?!?!??

- Debt payerThis is H & R accounts, a debt collector. I have dealt with them a few times, since we have had many bills from my husband's illness. They are very polite and willing to work with you, as long as you treat them cordially.

- john| 1 replyYou know you can get that bill cut in half. They buy this stuff for penny's on the dollar. So if you offer half the amount they usually don't argue. At least that's been my experience. Yes I know this is an older thread.

- EllieIts a Debt Collector for Medical Bills. I called back because they are trying to find someone who had my cell number before me. The gal was very courteous and had great customer service.

- Keepin IT Real replies to johnJohn that would be true if they were a "Debt Buyer". However they appear to work for the Hospitals and don't own the accounts. I suppose there might be some wiggle room but nothing like you're probably thinking. That whole "Pennies on the dollar" thing is internet hogwash.
- sound of silenceThis # keeps calling and then not speaking to me. So if it was a legit collection (been paying my bills every month ) they have lost their chance to talk to us. They can just mail any future correspondence.
- Caller: not sure
- sickoThis company is H & R Accounts PO Box 672 Moline IL 61266. They do collections for medical facilities primarily. Unfortunately even if you are still waiting for your insurance to dispute every charge ever submitted and pay what they are supposed to pay you are still responsible for the amounts owed. Most medical facilities will work with you as long as you are communicating with them regarding the debt and making your payments that you have set up with them. If you just ignore it or fail to keep your payment arrangements they will send you to collections and you do still have to pay it.

- MilkGot four calls in a row with no message, I have to note it's a little strange the amount of people here shilling for H&R accounts as this is a forum to find out who called you. I'd be interested to find out why so many are here coming to their defense. That said I do have a medical debt but it's being paid off in a timely manner. So maybe leave a message next time since clearly many employees have been visiting this post.
