I let my service run out and the calls started like crazy, so I renewed with their best package for the car but refused it on my phone and computer, Now that I renewed they still call wantuing me to upgrade to have it in my house. These people never are happy or give up selling more.

As a suggestion, when you receive the call you can either ignore it or answer and start hitting the *(key) on the keypad and continue to hit the key until the call ends. Or if they are calling your home phone, simply press the same key until the call disconnects. This will roughly take 15 seconds.

The point is this, these marketing companies use computer systems that call a group of numbers.  To the computer anything that goes through or to a busy signal is considered a "good" number and the calls continue.  However any call that goes through and returns a tone or series of tones indicates another computer, fax or modem and the number is deleted from the program as "bad".

    Happy answering!

they have a live chat on sirius.com/customercare - the guy seemed to know that people are pissed - said he put me on DNC but it may take up to 10 days "to process" so we'll see...

We do not want calls from 866-301-7344, identified as Sirius by Google Search.  The continuous calls have now become an annoyance to the privacy of my 734.3**.**** cell phone.

Please discontinue these unwanted calls, Aaron

Aaron- You have posted your cell phone number & full name on a public forum. I am going to send a message to admin. to ask them to remove it. If you didn't get junk calls before, now you will.

That will do nothing except disconnect the call. The system they use is smart enough to know when people do that.

So you're going to call someone who's probably just a college student trying to get by with this job, who has to deal with people like you and make them feel bad? Cute...

Then your beef is with the car dealership and not Sirius.

NO. You are part of the problem. If you clearly communicate to the sales rep that you don't want to be called instead of acting like a 4 year old by pressing buttons on the phone, then you might get somewhere.

You have obviously not used their software because it does not work like that. You cannot do that an expect it to work, the rep is still going to get through to you if push random tones.

Very simple solutions to problem of Sirius radio calling.  Next time, answer call and push button on air horn.  Do everytimes they call and promise, they soon get message and stop calling.  In Ukraine we call this being like a boss!

I have two vehicles that have this useless, worthless Sirius radio. Unfortunately with some vehicles made today you get stuck with useless features as packages and standard equipment because of the dang packaging that limits a consumer from opting a vehicle the way they want it. Anyway, I let my subscription lapse for Sirius. Those idiots keep calling my cell and landline relentlessly trying to get me to re-subscribe. I've told them I don't want their service and that I'm not going to blow my hard earned cash that aids and abets slobs like Howard Stern to be in command of the microphone. Believe me the salespeople at Sirius won't take no for an answer. My next step is to contact my attorney to get them to cease and desist.

I received calls from this number asking for a Daniel Anderson!  My phone is a new listing and even after explaining this, I still continue to get these calls.  Yesterday was the last straw, my husband was in the hospital following a heart procedure, and they call again.  They advised me it would take 10 days to get a DNC listed on this numbere, I told them in no uncertain terms, "this was not acceptable."

Been called multiple times per day since the "free trial" on my stereo expired.  I also get 3-5 junk mails a week from these clowns.  I went to their web chat and told them to take me off their list, hopefully it helps.  As for all the people suggesting we nicely asked to be removed, IT DOES NOT WORK, they continue calling even way beyond the 10 days you keep suggesting is required to take a number off their list.  I found a way in verizon's web site to block their calls for 90 days for free, you could try that.  As others have stated, I never signed up for anything regarding Sirius XM crap radio, and their assertion that my dealer giving them my personal information somehow means I have a business relationship with them is simply absurd.  I'm not suggesting that my dealer didn't give them my info, but I am asserting that in order for a business relationship to be formed, both parties must be present and agree, and I never did.

I placed an FCC complaint out on them - I strongly suggest you all do the same. That is the only way they'll stop.

I've called their DNC list number, placed them on block on my phone (AT&T service- so I still see when they call), changed my number via their site, have told them repeatedly that "I DO NOT want your service, stop calling" and they STILL call - about 5 times (sometimes 6) a day.  Gawd; could you imagine if you owed them money?!?!

So the only thing left is to contact FCC. They'll fine them, if necessary. I know there are a lot of complaints on them already - the more the better.
