Thanks for the heads up.  I also got two calls from Brad and I will NOT be calling him back?   What a SCAM.

I, too, have received several calls on my cell phone from an "Unknown" phone number.  "Brad" finally left a message, can sell my car, blah blah.  My car is actually advertised in Hemmings, so it looks like Longwood, Inc. is looking there, as well, for possible leads.  I don't answer his calls, and don't plan to return them, either.

got a couple of calls from "brad". don't do it. it's most likely a scam. my husband and i already got scammed once from an auto transport company and it's never happening again. never go through with companies that want all your billing info before you even see a contract! and don't especially do it over the phone. damn scammers!

Got 2 calls from Brad about my car posted on Craigs list, he says (like from everyone else here)I can guarantee your car to sell,"Of course he says for a small fee"
Then he continues to say " I put it in front of buyers that want to buy now." He sounds way too smooth for me. 866-326-1949

Hey people. Same here with me. "Brad" has called me twice already and left me messages. I was thinking about calling him back until i researched Longwood Inc. All these forums and negative things came up with the search. Whats up with "Brad"? He sounds like a damn robot. This page should be a turned into a petition for ending these thiefs. I wanna beat "Brad" up now after reading all these comments!

Received the same pitch message from "Brad" and just laughed at it knowing exactly what it was from the start.  Don't give them the time of day to even call back.  I just reported them to the National Registry of Do Not Call Numbers.  I have done this in the past and the calls stop almost immediately.  "Brad" might want to check that list before he calls anyone again.

After doing some research found out the parent company is Longwood Industries, Inc. 540-586-1430.  Call them directly and chewed the operator and director out.  It felt good to get a real person.  Call them and give them a hard time.  FYI - If you don't want them to have your number when calling, dial *67 first to turn on your caller id.  If you call a toll free number, it automatically gives up your phone number.  Good luck.  Have fun giving them a hard time in exchange for "Brad".

www.longwoodinc.com is their website that can direct you to their car selling and their 866-326-0949 telephone number shows up right on the page to confirm it is them.

For three days in a row,at the same time of day (around 12:20 p.m.) I have received a call from an "unknown" caller and on the third day, he left a message on my voice mail.  His name is "Brad" from "Longwood, Inc." wanting to help me sell my car.  I had a truck listed on CraigsList, but it had already sold.  I did not reply to his call.  I researched it on the Internet, and as I suspected, it is a scam.  It is illegal for a company to contact a person about an item they have for sale.  I will be reporting it to the BBB and the FCC.

Received 2 calls from "BRAD" from Longwood 1-866-326-0949 the second day after listing my vehichle for sale and then again today.  Advising he could get my car sold for a small fee and it is risk free and guaranteed to sell.  
I work on Risk Management and had a funny feeling about this...this wasn't the only company I received a call from.  There has been at least another 2, just can't remeber who they were right now.
I decided to Google info about the company and much to my surprise...I was right!  Thank you to everyone who has added to this blog.  Saved me from one BIG, STUPID, mistake!!
So I called back today Oct/21/09...
Recording came on, "Thank you for calling Auto Marketing?? systems, all of the lines are busy, please hold".
My call is answered by "Emily".
I asked for "Brad"...she immediately states that Brad is busy at the moment, but she could help me!
She asked me what number Brad called me at, and so I provided it to her.
She goes on asking me questions about my vehicle, if its still available, if I am still looking for that same price, etc.  I answered Yes to all.  
She then asks if its been in any accidents...at which point I apologize for interrupting and ask her to explain to me how 'Her' company came accross my information.
She states that the company is a matching service.  Clients call them advising what kind of car they are looking for, how much they are willing to spend and how far they are willing to travel to get it.  They then go and search for these vehichles and call up the individual's selling them.
I asked her how they could possibly get my info from autotrader.ca if it states that my information is kept confidential.
She then states, "Well, if you would like us to remove your number from our list, we can, or we can help you"
I asked her to remove my number off of her list as I have read a lot of bad things about this company and prefer to sell my vehichle on my own.
She lets me know that my number has been removed.  I say "Thank you!", she replies, "Uhhh huhhh" and disconnects the call.  VERRRRY PROFESSIONAL!!!
This is definately a SCAM and I would be VERRRRRY careful.
