This is a huge scam. There are other sites confirming this. It doesnt do any good to report them either. Its like telling the teachers at school when you were a kid "this kids picking on me" and all the yeacjer does is send a letter home. Same thing, FCC     is a joke. But good luck trying.

Matt Carter Longwood Inc. 866 326 9921 called me after placing an ad on the internet about my vehicle for sale. Claimed he could sell it with a small fee down and said his services were guaranteed. I claim SCAMMER!  I researched him/ Longwood Inc and found a ton of people he also called.

Got a voice mail from Matt saying he saw my car 4 sale on Craigs List and knows for certain he can sell it for me @ full 'price. The catch $249.00.....I responded with ....the I'll be checking out your site called Autohopper.com and will get back to you. I've been reading many complaints from others who were selling vehicles and this is definately a scam.......SHAM ON THEM!

So this idiot Matt from Longwood Inc has called twice now. so today i researched the company and low and behold there are many posts about this. Iam selling a camper on kijiji, he informed me via message he could sell my vehicle for me there are an abundance of buyers for this vehicle. so after I looked it up and had a laugh as I plotted my return call. I dialed the contact number he left an got a Brad, Matt was in a meeting (his alter ego by the tone of voice) I told him that Matt called an they would sell my vehicle. he said sure and what type of vehicle.... I laughed and said the one you guys are inquiring about. he could not give me any specifics what so ever. so i asked what the catch was, he told me there was no catch and a refund policy if they couldnt sell it. I said oh yeah how do I pay . He answered by visa I laughed and asked him are you charging $99 or $129 or if i pay right now will you give me the deal at $99 and then never refund my money. the line went quiet. I could hear him typing so I nicely said btw the word is out the BBB is notified as well as the local police have a great day. he hung up on me :(  Beware and do not fall for it from number 1-866-326-9921 and I live in Ontario Canada

Matt called back a second time about selling my car. I'm assuming he got my phone # off craiglist. HEY MATT,,,,I'm not selling my car I'm selling a trolling motor for a small boat. Next time you might want to actually READ the posting.

Okay...it is 3 years since the last post, but this can still help others.  I am in the same boat.  Just listed my autotrader.com ad (March 2012) and MATT keeps harassing me.  Calls many times per day, leaves no message, then leaves a couple messages toward the end of the day.  I just now filed a complaint with the West Virginia BBB.  I never signed up nor ordered any products/services from LONGWOOD/AUTO MARKETING SPECIALISTS.  I have my phone programmed to a silent ring tone for all calls except those I specifically program with other ringtones....I am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Longwood Losers!

Just received a call from Longwood Inc by a person named Matt Carter, When you call back, Heather answers.  For $199 on your credit card, they can guarantee selling your vehicle.  Did some research and have come up with all of the reports on this scam.  I am in Ontario and the numbers were 866-326-9921, but the stories were almost identical to all of the others except for the name changes.  So glad I checked this out before shelling out money.

I, too just received a call from Longwood Inc by a person named Matt Carter with the same familiar claim.   They farmed my name from and RvTrader ad I put in a week ago.  I googled 866-326-9921 and came up with a ton of complaints.... I won't be calling them.

I don't have a car for sale, but brad keeps calling my cell phone, and blocking his number for me to see, so sick of this!

Same thing this guy calling me. I don't have a car for sale!!!!!! I post my # on Claigslist for Bob small engine repair in Escondido Ca, 92029. That why I don't like to post my number on craigslist because of this type of thing. Same guy Matt Carter. Beware putting you're # on Craigslist or other listing..  Seller beware of scam like this guy!!!!!!

Matt Carter called me from Longwood Inc at 866-326-9921, he left me a vmail since I won't answer a call with a blocked # so it doesn't show up on caller id.  It was in regards to the car I had listed on craigslist.  Sounds like a classic case of fraud to me based on the sales pitch he left.

I got a call on my call display as UNKNOWN CALLER but he left a message saying he was Matt Carter from Longwood Inc and he could sell my vehicle for a small fee that was guaranteed and well worth it. This message had scam all over it. Likely got my add from Kijiji.

i think we have be scamed  i know we have am very upset, lost some of  my hard earned money .. they better get a real job before they screw  everyone

I am not going to go on and on about what everyone already knows about Longwood Inc. But i will say that i have been in a court battle , and getting close to bieng awarded what i want to sue the company for. AND, i dont have any contracts with them! They contacted me from my ad on craigslist and has every day for the past 4 months. The messages get more and more irritated from MATT or BRAD..and i have been recording them and saving them. They have no right talking to me since i havent requested their services. So just beware, it is still going on...and has been a problem since before 2009!

Please watch this video (from a Roanoke, VA news station) before you consider doing business with Auto Marketing Systems- which is actually also Adventis, Inc.
