Haha, I got a call from 'Matt' as well. I'm not going to waste my time calling him back.

The number 866-326-9921 is a scam. there was this "Matt Carter" guy who left me a voice mail and then he left me another one saying he called a week ago, when it was 4 days ago. I want to report these idiots to the police somehow.

I've been researching this "too good to be true" offer that Longwood makes and one thing struck me. Nowhere that I look can I find a place for buyers to sign up or look at cars. How is it that they sell so many cars for so many sellers if they don't advertise for or have anywhere for buyers to go?
Kind of one sided selling isn't it? How exactly can you sell cars if you don't have any buyers?

Just got a call this morning from "Matt Carter" 866.326.9921.  Told me to call him before 5 tonight.  Never said my name, what i'm selling, nothing. Yes its a Scam111

NO! thebiglot website is associated with longwood inc. look closer at the other  blogs. the person who wrote this must be associated with longwood. it is all a scam. if you google longwood, you will find alot of information about how they offer to seel you car in 90 days but you must pay them in advance. this is a scam! nobody had their car sold. thebiglot is their cover website for longwood.

My 16 year old son had been called 3 times in the past week by this Brad over a car.  First off don;t approve of someone who solicites a minor second off i have done alot of research and have not found 1 good thing about this company.  I wont give money to someone who doesnt allow me to check things out first.  They insist on money first before seeign anything,  when i said want to see something first they said i had to have credit card info.  Even if business is on the up and up they have poor buisiness practice.  But as i said i cant find anything positive concerning them.

They tried the scam in me, saying they had buyers lined up for my car. I told them to hold while I went to get my credit card for them. I wonder how long they stayed in hold before they realized I wasn't coming back to the phone. I did this 4 times before they finally caught on. lol
Joke was on them this time! Gave me some free entertainment for a while anyhow.

Got exactly the same call as your husband. When I called back I got Sheila. Everything else was the same. Gave her my email and got a nice bundle of info within a few hours which is now in file 19 after reading these reports. Thanks everyone. I've also reported it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud centre This makes the 3rd scam call/email I've had within10 days for my classic car. The other 2 were from some persons (male & female) working out of the country and wanting  the car for a birthday gift for their father and would pay by paypal including the pick-up fee ($1450) for their agent in the UK. Paypal suggest this  appears to be fraudulent but didn't know exactly how it would work except that the payment might be made from a fake credit card account. Anybody had that one? It came after advertising in Autotrader.ca. Tar and feathering would be too good.

my mother has tried to sell her vehicle and they called leaving a message on our home phone stating that they were looking for a vehicle like hers and blah blah blah. we are no trying to sell our truck and we got the exact same message as my mother did. not only that but two other people with [***] money orders tried to scam me as well. so until you know how a scammer speaks over the phone or the internet.....SHUT UP!!!

Ive gotten 2 calls from that matt carter guy too last wk n yesterday, who also got my info from craigslist. soo glad i looked up longwood inc to find out.. 866 326 9921

That's a scam forsure...I'm trying to sell my truck and these people call and want me to give them 100 with out any details....ya riiiight

I just received a call from Matt Carter at 1866 326 9921. I called back and a woman picked up the phone and said she is taking calls for Matt.
Now, I Googled and found this website but so far everybody's saying it's a scam but no one says what happens if they pay or no one says that they have actually tried this company!
Tell me, what exactly do they do? They take your car and never pay you? or they take the $150 and they disappear?
someone must have tried them. I've read all these posts and no one said a word about what exactly these people do!

The number I was given was 866-326-9921, for Matt, or 866-326-0809, for Joyce. This was in Oct.2011, I see all other info was in 2010, they are still active in 2011.  Thank goodness I checked it out & read above messages, before agreeing to send money......THANK YOU.

Recently had an ad posted on craigslist to sell a car, sold the car and removed the ad. A couple days later I get a call from matt with longwood inc. The number wasw unknow, but in the voicemail he leaves an 866-326-9921 number.

I didn`t answer the call, but "matt" left a voicemail offering to help sell my car for "small" fee and said they guarantee the results. Got a second call the following day from matt. He again left a voicemail saying that he sees that I`m still trying to sell my car and they can help.

The funny thing is that the ad has been removed for about a week and I`m no longer trying to sell any cars. If I needed help selling a car, i would seek the help. I do not appreciate annoying soliciting phone calls.

Just received a phone call from Matt from Longwood Inc. His phone # is 1-866-326-9921. Sounds like
the same jokers.

Just recieved a call from Matt Carter with Longwood inc. his number left to call him back at was 866-326-9921. saying that they can guarentee the sale of our vehicle. We listed with autotrader.com and after reading all these posts I will not be calling this character back.

I just got a phone call from Matt  1866-326-9921 and same story like yours,  saying he wants to sell my truck   bla bla bla   I know craiglist scamers and checked from  here and lucky me I saw all your stories.  Thank you guys posting your experience it helps everyone.

Brad called me and left a message to call him back at 866-326-9921.  He said that he can guarantee the sell of my vehicle for a small fee.  He said his company name is Longwood Inc.
