Glad I looked it up - doesn't sound like I'm going to return this guy's call.

I got the same voice message from Matt Carter aswell saying that he saw my car online and would like to know more about it (keeping in mind that my car is posted on carsforsale.com with pictures, in-dept description, and my contact information) and telling me that he could get it sold for a small fee then leaving the number 866-326-9921 as a call back number. so i thought about it for a day or two he called again on private number (didnt answer) and left another message saying he's been calling a few times trying to get in-touch with me about selling my car (i only saw the 866 number on my call history once and 2 private calls seriously what legitimate company calls on private!!!!!). The next day i gave them a call back and instead of Matt picking up some lady named Linda picked up saying Matt was out for the day and that she was taking his calls until he gets back. After she talked my head off about having soo many offers for my car she then said for $140.00 she can start this service and get my car sold for 3,000.00 i thought about it for a little bit told her i would give her a call back the next day. The same nite i looked up longwood inc. and found a ton of negative reviews reading thru a few of em i now know that they are just straight up B***s*** i actually thought it was true but then i thought if i had all these offers for my car why havent i received any calls saying so???? ATTENTION: Dont buy into these longwood inc scam artist u would do better selling your car on your own why pay someone else to connect you to some invisible/not real buyers!!!!!

Recieved a call from Brad from Longwood Inc several times asking me to call so he can sell my vehilce.  I wrote in my add for no third party sales calls, twice.  I am tired of theses people doing what they want.

Yeah got the same message on this page... I didn't even have a car to sell. I was selling my scooter, guess if i called they would of felt stupid cause i would of been your not interested in the Bike? Then where'd you get my number and hung up cause they seem all happy my vechicle. Yeah scam. And the dumb butts are stupid cause its like U think we wouldn't look them up on the interet? I just got the same message from Matt Carter 866 326 9921, my ad is in the local newspaper
and just like everybody else I thought , interesting and decided to google them before I called. Glad I did bunch of scammers. If so may people want my car why haven't I received any calls. All the info is there.

listed a right hand drive jeep on CL, had "MATT CARTER" from Longwood call me with the story about his clients want my vehicle, and for a small fee it would be well worth it. Called me 2 x, left VM both times.

I also received a phone call from Matt Carter, I have not called back but my car is not even on a website or for sale at all, and I don't know how he got my cellphone number either! It is a complete scam people! I don't know how he knows I have a vehicle or anything but he called my cell phone and said there a numerous number of people on his list interested in my kind of car which he doesn't even know what it is! Don't fall for it!

The number that was left for me to call back was 866-326-9921. Guess they have a new number!

I got a call from "Matt Carter" twice now. Same line of [***] as everyone else. I don't know why you people don't call the number back and [***] with them royally.

My message came from MATT CARTER at 866-326-9921 which I did not call back but instead inquired of LONGWOOD INC to find all these complaints. Interestingly enough a day before I received a somewhat disjointed g mail from  michael elliot wanting to know the address where my trailer is located and also to supply my paypal acct no. as he was going out of town on a official assignment and wanted to have the unit picked up. How does one know TRUTH from FICTION today?

Got a call from Matt Carter of Longwood INC at 866-326-9921- Wanted to help sell my car ( I have a TRUCK,  idiot) and would require a small fee... what a scammer!!!
And I'm in another freaking country than his call is from. Anyone who falls for this is getting a financial spanking for being so dumb. Cheap therapy.

I have now joined the Longwood phone call club.  Matt called me with the same pitch.  Thank God I googled this company and read these posts.  I guess my mother was right again, if it sounds too good to be true, its not true !!   Wanted to help sell my car which is listed on autotrader.com.  Stated he had a long list of people waiting to buy cars like mine.  Well, its a nice car but not an exotic, extremely rare car that would warrant hiring a broker to help locate one.  The number Matt is using is 866-326-9921

Hi everybody....I just received the same phone call from Matt Carter....he left me a voicemail and like the rest of ya'll I did a Google search....I'm glad I did....it seems a little odd that I have to pay someone else to sell my car....I'm pretty sure I can sell my own car....crazy....thank you thank you for posting on this pagell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a message on my cell phone from "Matt" with Longwood Inc.  He said to call him back at 1-866-326-9921.  I called the number and got a woman that answered, "Debbie", who told me he was on another line and she could help me.  She gave me the same BS that everyone else seems to have heard.  She said if I decided to use their services I should call her back at 1-866-326-0809 x129.  ..... yeah, right.

I, too got the message from Matt/Longwood, Inc.  Everybody seems to think it's a scam, but I can't find anyone who has actually used the services.  Maybe it works?  However, I checked out their website.  They claim that folks looking for specific cars register their search with Google, Yahoo, Ebay, etc.  They buy the leads from such online sites, and match it up with your car that you're trying to sell.  I said great!  I'd love a new Porche, and looked everywhere for a site that would register my search.  I couldn't find a buyer registration site anywhere.  So, for the $250 you cough up to these people, exactly where do the buyers come from?  Thin air, apparently.  Magic.  A straw?
