got about 8 calls from this number so far.  Although,  saying its a collect call from Warren County Jail.  Need credit card number to accept call and has my brothers voice saying his his name, all prerecorded.
Does anyone have an idea where this number is originating

I have been getting a call from this number constantly for the last few days, it is all in spanish and i do not speak a lick of spanish.  The only english bit is Houston Processing Facility.  I don't know anyone that is in jail so they can try someone else

Can someone help me? I got a call from this number leaving a garbled answer phone message saying something about a detention centre? It didn't say who tried to call me just something about clients and atornys? I'm a little worried as i am from the uk and this voicemail and number is American. I do know a couple of people who are currently in America, is this call lagit? Please help because if it is someone I know they could be in trouble and currently I am not answering the call as this is a forigein number

How much is the bail bond? and is the call in need of a credit card after 1 minute?

Same story.  Message goes on and on in Spanish.  I called the number back and a prison employee told me it was an inmate in Texas named Douglas (last name in Spanish).  Do they just dial random numbers or is there a strategy to their scam?

I received a call from that number on my cell and missed it, so I called back (out of curiosity) and it is indeed a company that monitors and handles inmates calls from correction facilities.  Since I also do not know anyone from a correction facility, it had to have been a miss-dial.

Thanks for the info, folks!  My wife's boyfriend is being deported (Hallelujah!) and I noticed this number on the phone log with my phone company.  I have "AT&T Smart Limits" for phone use control, so I have the number blocked now.

Incidentally, I gather the rates are VERY expensive, so don't give a credit card out unless you're sure you know who it is that is calling you and you really want to speak to them.  The company makes big money, and the jail gets a good slice.  Some facilities use the "profits" to fund inmate recrational services and things, like holiday dinners, so they don't have to put it on their budget.

*Why do they call these lock-ups "correction facilities?"  Nobody ever gets corrected there!

got 2 calls and both times left a vm message saying press "1" to have a privilege conversation with a lawyer, press "2" to decline.
