Have received numerous calls from this number over past two days.  Heavily accented male voice.  Calls claim to come from Shelby County (TN) Correctional Facility, Fort Isabelle Detention Center and others.  Have advised all to refuse all calls - press 2 to do so.

If you got the call from this number, chances are, you've got a friend or a relative in jail or one of those Immigration related detention centers. This number belongs to a company Talton Communications Inc.(taltoncommunications.com), which is servicing such facilities. It's official, it is not some telemarketer Pick up that call, accept collect, you won't loose much even if you don't know the caller (just hang up later). DO NOT assume this world is "perfect", authorities do make mistakes often, some people are getting stuck there for no valid reason and they simply can't reach out to let the world know they are in trouble and need help.

This is a Legit Phone Service for Jails. Inmates are forced to use this for collect calls to the outside world. If you have a loved one in jail this is the only way for you to get calls from them. It is used by jails around the country.

I got a call not long ago from a friend, I talked to him for about a minute and then I was asked for a credit card# and I don't have credit card, Yet I'm thankful for about a minute of free conversation.

It's a number that jail inmates use to place collect calls. They have to state their names at the beginning of the call, so if you don't know that person, or if you do know that person but don't want to bail them out, don't answer.

Hey my friend is @ n. Ga center n he just called me we only talked for 1 min. Then they asked me for my credit card # i went to the website u have posted but they dont have any info on the inmate calls from that facility..... How can i check how much they r gonna charge on my card or is there any other way to add money to recieve his calls?
