You can create an account on their website:taltoncommunications.com
And then you can deposit money to your registered phone number account to receive his calls, or deposit money to detainee's account ( if you have his A number and Last name) , and then he can call any numbers if he has deposit in his own accounts

This is collect call, My husband called me from immigration jail in LA, this caller company covers most jails and detention centers in US, here is their website:taltoncommunications.com, you can create an account on their website, and then you can deposit money to your own account to receiving calls from inmate, or deposit money to inmate's account in order that he/ she can call any phone numbers. I deposited $10 to my own account, the rate is not expensive as other reviews, 10 cents per minute. If you getting calls from inmate, you should ask his A numbers, his last name ( first 3 letters), which jail or detention centers in order to deposit money to inmate's account.

If you knew inmates who call you, of course, this caller number is not scam, if not, you can talk to representative to block it.

I did a google search on 866-348-6231 and if you look at the related searches you see this:

    Related searches
    Cullman County Jail Mugshots
    Cullman County Jail Arrest Search
    Shelby County Inmate Search
    Shelby County Jail Phone Number
    201 Poplar Jail Inmates
    201 Poplar Jail Phone Number
    Shelby County Jail Information Number
    Telmate Sign in

All of those links lead to Shelby County Jail which is in Tennessee which is no where near L.A. or did you mean LA as in Louisiana? Anyway there is some truth to what you posted. I've gotten these calls before and it was simply a wrong number.

It simply boggles my mind how all these people look up a number even though they know who is calling and why.  Now we have another one.  You knew who called you, you knew it was your "husband", you seem to know everything there is about this number and company, and yet you searched the number.  Why would you do that?

This phone number called me many times this Friday, i answered, but they speak Spanish, I can not understand, that's why I searched number on Google, I found out most reviews said from jail, and I asked my neighbor who can speak Spanish, she told me press 1 to connect, finally my husband spoke to me, but only one minute for free, he told me go their website and deposit money. I review here, because I want somebody knows at least this caller not scam.

My husband was arrested by police in litter rock, AR, and he told me he was transferred to the lasalle detention center, Louisiana. This telmate company covers many jails and detention centers in many states, I checked their website. But the inmate maybe dialed wrong numbers if you don't know friend, family members in the jail.

I grew up not too far from Jena where LDS is located.

Your post doesn't make any sense. If you had said they spoke French I'd be more inclined to believe you.

He was arrested in Arkansas and they jailed him in Louisiana?  Sorry i don't buy that one either.  If you are arrested in one state, then you stay in that state until your court case comes up.

    Yes, you said right.
He was arrested last Chrismas because of DUI in Arkansas, and I paid 10,000 bail bonds, and he was released in one week, and he went to the last trail in the court last Wed., the judge sentenced him probation for 60 months to the community correction department for probation service, the first time he went to the probation service this Thursday, police said he is illegal here, and informed immigration deparntment, that's why he was transferred to the immigration jail ( lasalle detention center) and waiting to be deported. No more court time for him, can not bond him out again that's the police told me in probation service. My primary Language is not English either, if I confused you, I say sorry.

I mean he went to last jury trial in the court last Wed, I typed wrong, my English is poor. Maybe I shouldn't post here since my English is not good enough. If I confused somebody,  I say sorry. From now on, I have to shut up.

If he's here illegally, why didn't they deport him when he was arrested in December?

That takes awhile.  There isn't really great communication between the Feds and local PD.  But i can't feel sorry for someone who decided to circumvent the immigration system and to come here and live and work illegally.  Not when so many others follow the law.  Not when they take away from honest Americans who work and pay taxes.

Thanks for explaining. I wasn't sure how that worked. And I'm with you on the illegal immigrant thing.
