I've already filed with BBB and Attorney General for Missouri for Dealer Warranties pulling this crap.  Here we go again:

Thanks a lot, I got a letter from these scammers on the mail today. Looks like a scam for they sent me a letter for my Chrysler.. which does not exist. Need I say more?

Dam letter looked like an official recall letter from Toyota, even to the point of having fold down and tear off sides and top stating

received a letter from CAR SAFE today at my parents' house in another state about my "chrysler".  i haven't owned a car since 1997 and never had a chrysler in my life.  where do these people come from, and how do they sleep at night???!!!

I got the letter from these guys. It sounds like they just did a mass mailer. I really want to call them and demand where they got my information. To Marrbo, let me know how legal action against these guys go!

I know I got one as well.  I also thought it was a recall.

If you read the contract (on the CarSafe website) - there's a lot they don't cover and you have to call first even if on the road.  Their sales tactics with the calls and "recall look alike" mailings are deplorable.

I got the letter in mail from CarSafe. I just moved and afte that got once oil change and that is the record with my current address and car, yet to change with DMV. So the oil change company SOLD my new loction to this ppl. and that's how thay got to know at this location this car is with my name. Also intresting is that the EXPIRAION date of warrenty on letter has no connection with purchase or any other date which I know for my car. So it is SCAM and the location where OIL CHANGE is done are connected to this company.

If any one else do complain has to do for CARSAFE and the most rsent location where car went has to do that 2 location.

I paid 250.00 down... and now what do I do to get out of it!!!????

The real problem is how they are getting our information.  Personally, I would prefer not to have my name, address, make and warranty expiration date sold to the highest bidder.

I received the same mail from them. Like everyone else, but the claiming it was from Nissan.

Got a form in the mail too, I have a Cobalt and assumed it had to do with the power steering recall.  I wouldn't have called for an extended warranty on it anyway, but nice to know I'm not the only one who was smart enough to check this out.  Hope others Google the number, too.
