- Web userToday, I got a notice that read, "2nd attempt, call 866 364-3336 to extend vehicle coverage." I shred and threw that notice away. The MAZDA dealership may be selling my information as everytime I take my vehicle to get serviced, at the MAZDA dealership I start getting annoying telemarketer calls and/or letters to extend vehicle coverage. I always give MAZDA my fax line number and not my landline number. So extended car telemarketers call all you want because all you will get is a fax ring. And, if i receive letters, I just shred and throw away.
Notice address is from:
Carsafe
6300 Northwest Expressway
Oklahoma CIty, OK 73132- Caller: Letters from Carsafe/SCAMMERS
- Call type: Prank
- TokkidaYep, just got my "2nd Attempt" letter. Definitely a scam! Wish they'd quit sending me this crap >:( Oh well, more birdcage bedding!
- Caller: CarSafe
- JackTold the caller I didn't even have, nor have ever had a 2006 Nissan, or any other Nissan.
Have also received a notification letter and TWO 2nd attempt notification letters.- Caller: Unknown
- kip replies to A.J. RomeThey do not call you because they don't have your telephone unmber yet.
These people are the same people who run the RACHEL Credit ard Lower Your Interest Rate Scam that call pple who are on the do not call lists. They don't care about the do not call list's. - Geoff replies to A.J. Rome| 1 replyYeah, we dumb old elderly no longer have our senses about us and are unable to make good decisions. I'm 68 and barely know the alphabet, my surname and last four. Being a senior, I am scammed several times a week because I am unable to understand why I owe a payday loan in Denver when I live in Lubbock. (That's in Texas ya know....32 year old daughter wrote that on my sleeve.) so naturally being a senior, I pay the caller any amount he demands, without question. I live on fiber suplements, wear depends, and sip soup through a straw. I get up at 3am, eat breakfast at 3:30am, take a nap at 7am, lunch at 10am, take a nap at 11am, eat supper at 2:30pm, take a nap at 3pm then go to bed at 4:30pm. (did I mention that I had lunch at 10am?) I get confused about my schedule because of this damn dementia. But, for a senior, I have been very lucky this past year. I have won 8 BMWs, 2.5M (8 times), got my cc interest lowered 22 times, payed back 18 pay day loans through Light Finger Louie's collections and law offices, got my computer fixed 11 times, bought 7 warranty extensions for my 54 ford crestline, tons of diabetic supplies straight from the manufactures in the Domenican Republic even though I'm not diabetic (thought I was, but the doctor said it was just gas), got me a new security alarm system just for putting up a sign in front of the rest home and that $300 for installation and the first and last monthly fee, in advance, paid by a Walmart Scratch and sniff debit card, walgreen and walmart gift cards, 4 Carnival cruises, and many many more of these blessings. A true gift from above.
In all fairness, I must say that I have had some misfortune though. About 15 different "Paper Servers" are out there somewhere looking for my residence (Shady Palms-up Rest Home & Mortuary) in order to serve me legal documents. They keep calling me back on the lobby payphone saying that they will be here within the hour and I keep giving them directions but somehow they get lost and never show up. They keep calling and threatening to call my Employer and talk to the HR department. I thanked them and ask if they would tell me who it was after they talked them... About the only thing that I have ever known about dementia is that.............................................forgot what i was going to say.................never mind.
I have to go now. damn near bed time. - Gunnar replies to GeoffBravo Geoff! One of the best that I've read in a very long time. You hit the nail (and the scammer) right on the head.
You forgot to mention our old, creaking bones though. Which make it difficult for us to get up and answer the phone. And are why I'll be posting from Whistler next week. Gotta rest those old bones, with some end of the season relaxation..skiing.
But if my luggage gets lost, I won't mind. I'll just say "What luggage?" - Frank replies to ENOUGH!!!!| 1 replyI get this all the time in the mail. 2nd attempt or last chance. If you go for this I hope you have EVERY receipt for oil change, transmission change ETC or they will not pay!! If you motor has a problem and you did not have your transmission service, you are out of luck!!! Any excuse not to pay, they have!! You are warned!!!
- jo replies to FrankI got a call about extending my warranty as well as 2 letters asking me to extend my warranty. I read my mail very closely now, and google all names and numbers when they adk for money. Trying to avoid being scammed.
- THEY'RE STILL AT IT!Received envelope in the mail with the words "VEHICLE NOTIFICATION" on the outside and a pink slip on the inside stating, "This notice is to inform you that your vehicle factory warranty has expired or could be about to expire based on time or mileage..............." yada, yada, yada. Thank God for the internet!
- blue replies to chasingthemdownI have received numerous calls and notices from these people over the years. This time I got a pink slip...if you turn it over it says: "Plans are administered by: Enterprise Financial Group, 122 W. Carpenter Fwy. FL6. Irving, TX 75039 or Interstate National Dealership, 6120 Powers Ferry Rd. NW, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30339. CarSafe is a Certified Member of the Vehicle Protection Association." BTW: It also states "You have been selected to receive this offer from publically (their spelling) available records."
I would appreciate if they would not contact me by phone....the "garbage" mail I can toss out. - no wayThey send it to my mom by regular mail today. She never own a car, never learn how to drive......
She is 89 years old......something is very wrong ......."scam" - post pending moderator approval
