- lifeisgoodI have not received a call from this number but I received a letter from CarSafe stating that my new car warranty will expire on xx/xx/2010. I wondered how it was possible as I purchased an extended warranty directly through the manufacturer's dealership when we bought our car. Then I noticed that the "Expiration Date" on the letter from CarSafe did not even match our new car warranty expiration date, so I thought this might be a scam, I googled the customer service phone number on the letter and found this. I'm glad that we did not make silly mistakes giving thousands of dollars away to this fraudulent car warranty company!

- Big Redmessage to those companies wasting postage on sending mailers..Get a real job! I'm tired of seeing this junk mail in my mailbox. If I wanted a warranty, I'd get it from a dealer or a bank or credit union, not some place that will try to "scam" me. Thanks.

- JenGot this mail today after having an oil change in pepboys the other day... and that was the only thing I did to my car since feb. My car is even on a lease so how can my manufacturer's warranty expire when the manufacturer itself still owns it!
It's so maddening to receive this kind of scams! By the way, the address came from FL not MO but same freaking number (866-364-3336)!- Caller: CARSAFE
- Not meI filed a complaint with the NC Attorney General's office. Didn't have my name, date of purchase or even the VIN#. Obvious scam.

- MAPI received a notification in the mail from an outfit called CareSafe and knew it was a scam because I have a Toyota that I inherited when my mom passed away so I knew there was no warranty on it, let alone one that was expiring. Where can I report these [***].

- SteveW| 1 replyMy 91 year old mother-in-law got one of these in the mail. The car is 15 years old and has over 100,000 miles on it. NO one extends a warranty on a car like that! Better yet, she sold the car 2 years ago.
Since this is a intra-state scam, it is up to the federal government to stop it. Oops! I forgot, Republicans are business friendly. - anony3 months ago i got one saying it was for a Ford, ive never owned a ford and never will.
i looked it up and saw it was a scam.
3 months later i get one, same letter but for a toyota....
i hope the BBB shuts them down.- Caller: Car Safe

- SteveWUpdate - After my mother-in-law got a card for for a car she no longer has, just like poster "anony", I received one for my car...16 years old, over 160,000 miles and not worth fixing! If I thought a $250, or even $300, payment would actually pay for my repairs, I'd jump at it. CarSafe would pay out $4,000 or $5,000.
- TimothyDGot the mailing today from 866-364-3336 (also googled and found it as a number for www.carsafe.tv).

- Really??!!! replies to ENOUGH!!!!Got one of these stupid letters in the mail and the worst part is it was sent to my deceased father's name. Called to get him removed from mailings and the jerk just hung up on me once I gave him the Owner ID #. Called back to make sure it was removed and "Jared" said it already was removed. When I asked why they were send out direct mail to a deceased person he said "I really don't know, but it's been removed....IDIOTS!!
- PollyI received a folded sheet of paper in the mail. As it looked highly scam and suspicious, I googled. It was presorted standard mail, US Postage Paid, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Permit No. 2013. Make: Private. Request For Immediate Action - Time Sensitive Material Enclosed. To Be Opened By Addressee Only. Please Respond Within Five Days. Inside the sheet it gives the information: Car Safe, Owner I.D. #SGH-169-5247 and PHONE: 866-364-3336. Make: PRIVATE. It continues with the usual gibberish about your factory warranty has expired and to call today 1-866-364-3336 and to have your Mileage and VIN# ready so they can better assist me. Have been receiving so much scam phone calls; I believe I have been called by them also. August 31, 2010.

- DixI didn't get a phone call but I got a solicitation through the mail claiming "urgent service contract expiration".
Has this phone # to call. CarSafe has a very bad bad bad reputation and I wanted to advise anyone who is considering any of their "services" - DON'T. - min_vodI received this letter today. does not list vehicle number or model of the vehicle. the name was misspelled.
be careful, it does not look rigid. always check the phone number provided- Caller: CarSafe

- Mr. R. H.I also got the "Urgent Letter" from CarSafe. I did call and to my surprise they already new my vehicle, where I purchased it, when my warranty ended and much more information I had no idea how they new it. They said they work with the dealership where I purchased my truck from and yes they know how to fast talk over you and not stop. Also like Mr. Jamieson I am a senior, disabled and so forth. Every time I answered a question he lowered the price via the disability act. Whatever that is. And I said I wanted to think about it and they said the deal would disappear if I didn't say yes RIGHT NOW.! He called himself Ray Lord. He finally came up with $175 down and @ 18 mo. $157, and @ 24mo. $117.75. This was after 3 other quotes. What an IDOIT! I called my dealership and they said he was a liar and knew nothing of the CarSafe Co. And yes the phone number was the same as all you folks. !-866-364-3336. I knew not to go ahead on; this because of his sale ethics and finally hung up too. I have actually got these letters for every car I own and just never called. I hope no one gets stuck with these lying [***]! My next email is to the BBB! Every body needs to do the same as some of you have done already.
