866-408-4070 is continuously calling our house. They are asking fr someone who does not live here. It is an automated system. I asked them what bank they were calling from and they hung up. I found Juniper Bank in reverse look-up. I don't know these people. Can't anything be done to stop them from calling?

I had a similar experience with them. I used selective call forwarding to forwars their calls back to their own toll free number. let them harass themselves for a while.

Here is a good one. Some how the people at this number were able to remotely access my handicapped brothers emergency cell phone and change the emergency contact number (my cell number) that I had programmed into the phone so that every time my challenged brother tried to contact me the call went to this 866-408-4070 number and asked for his social security number which greatly confused him. Thankfully none of his emergency's were life threatening but if my family member had died because of this companies tactic's I for sure would have initiated a lawsuit. Check your contact numbers.Your cell carrier will not tell you that it is really possible for someone to remotely hack your contact list and alter it or monitor it. Anyone heard of the Patriot Act.

The latest scam from a foreign male voice is asking for check information to make a payment on a credit card to avoid late fees.  The late fee was waived when the were reminded of the new laws that were put into effect the the Credit Reform Act.

Please stop calling.

I received over 20 calls in 72 hours from this number with 19 abondoned calls.  This is totally illegal actions and that number is in fact the collection arm of Barclays Bank.  In fact I was only 1 day late on my payment when the calls began.  I will be boycotting Bayclays bank over these practices I also filled a complaint with the FCC.  Below is the link to file complaints against organizations running practices like this.  https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

get calls from these people EVERY DAY.  say they are from Barclays bank.  I tell them I don't even know a barclays bank.  they keep trying to get me to say I am a certain name before they give me any more information about my "account".  I tell them again, I don't know barclays so how would I have an acct there?  They then tell me to have so-and-so call them back.  I tell them I don't know this person, they have the wrong number and not to call again.  Irritating.

I can believe this because I have software that will block phone calls, send and reseve faxes and forward calls and a few other things as well. This software also logs all of the calls I get with, date, time, and lenth of call, and so far I have reseved 102 calls from this number (866) 408-4070 in the last 15 days, some times as meny as 7 in one day.
The software I am using is call CallAudit you can do a search in the net for it and it has a 30 free trial and is only 30 dallors for buy. For anyone liking to try it.

I found a great solution.  They call me at least every hour on the hour.  Never leave a message so whenever they call me, I immediately call them back, they ask for an account number or my SS number and I just continue to hold on until someone "real" comes on the line, after they let me know who they are, I immediately blow my whistle in their ear.  After several times of doing this, it stops for a while.  When they continue calling, I continue to blow the whistle.  Sooner or later, they will get the message.

It Barclays Bank which can be associated with Juniper.  I believe that their calling practices are excessive.  You could be 1 or 2 days late which can happen to anyone and they will start calling you like crazy.

unwanted phone calls from this number asking for SS # and or CC#number, does not give a name of company.   in reading some of the complaints the call is coming from Barcly Bank, Delaware.

I recieve at least several calls from this number on my home phone and my cell phone, usually oned right after the other and several times a day.  Please make them stop.  Looks like it originated by Juniper Bank selling my information.

Received two calls from number without any answer on other end.

I get messages that start at 8:00 in the morning,,10 to 15 a day,, sometimes 4 or 5 on Sunday,, they called this morning before we left for Sunday School. Something needs to be done,, this is harrassment for sure.

I continue to received random calls from this number and no one answers when I pick-up the phone.  I've received at least 7 calls to date.

Barclays is an crooked English bank that took over Juniper, a legally operated American bank, for the purpose of taking advantage of the current weak state of Federal banking regulation and enforcement by stealing from Americans.  Didn't they learn anything the first time we kicked their child buggering [***] out of this country?  The English are drunken, child abusing perverts, it was really wrong to protect them from what they deserved to get in WWI and WW2.  We saved their worthless [***] and now they think they can come here and steal from us?  I hope the muslims that they so warmly embrace their do to them what we should have let the Germans do to them.

I have been harassed by this number for weeks now.  I filed a complaint with the FTC(Federal Trade Commission).  They told me to call the Colorado Attorney General Office.  The attorney general found out that they are/were Juniper Bank a national bank now Barclay's Bank of Delware.  They told me to call the Comptroller of Currency(OCC).  The OCC couldn't help me because the now Barclay's Bank of Delware is NOT a national bank but a member of the FDIC.  So I called the FDIC. Joyce at the FDIC told me to fill out a complaint form and call the response center in a week.  I will do whatever it takes to stop this harassment.

This issue should maybe be addressed to the media.
