CALLER KEEPS CALLING, THEN HANGS UP AS SOON AS I SPEAK.

Same here just started over the weekend

IDNA when they called. No msg. I'm great full for you spending time to defreat the enemy one by 1

Daily calls since 2/24/17....sometimes more than once a day.  They leave no message and hand up when I answer.  I blocked the number.

Wanted last four of social security. Haha. SCAM!!!!!

Keeps calling, leaves no message. Will hang up if you pick up the phone. Callsat inconvient times. Just blocked it.

866 447 4163 has started calling, either hangs up before I can even answer and doesn't leave a message. I called the number back and it identified itself as Waypoint Resource Group.

This is a scam caller, just ignore, some low life that has nothing better to do than waste our time and air.

They are calling on both my cell and landline.  Rings twice and stops.

They called hung up they called st least 3 times daily I called back got someone asked to speak to a supervisor and they did he wanted my information I said no what is this regarding he just wanted my information so I said I prey you die he hung up

I have gotten a few calls the last few weeks from this number and another number.  I keep missing the call, but one of these days, they will have to deal with me.  Can't wait.  What I have on them so far:

Note that the one complaint indicates that they tried to bully the person into paying.  Of course this person should have made them follow the law instead of capitulating to them, but that was their choice in the matter.

Looks like they are paying a little over $14 an hour assuming a 40-hour work week, but they also pay commissions which increases the incentive to violate the law:

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

yes, same with me.  They ask for last 4 of SSN and tell you the call is being recorded.  PA is a 2 party consent state for recording, I told them I do not provide my consent

I get the same calls on my cell phone.  Finally I returned the call using my landline and I got a person. The company is Waypoint Resources. They asked for my daughter who doesn't live with me. I told them there was no such person at this number and to take my number of their call list. We will see.

People need to find some things else to do

They asked if they were speaking with me and I asked who was calling, who the company was and what it was in regards to. They would give me what it was in regards to unless I verified any info. I verified 2 previous address. Eek! What should I do?
