Please let me know when my prescriptions are ready to pick up.

Didn't know who it was so I didn't answer, was walmart pharmacy with some important message about one of my prescriptions (I have had a pending out of stock prescription since Wednesday) it was recorded and something about how I had to press 1 or 0 because the current alert service I have been usuing is no longer available.  I'll have to call later to figure out if my prescription is actually ready or not.

I keep trying this number but they give no way of enrolling and say call local walmart--who  say they can't do it - must be done thru the 866 number     "catch 22"

So WHY don't they IDENTIFY THEMSELVES as Wal-Mart Pharmacy on Caller ID.

It IS Walmart/Sam's Club advising you that someone there has meds ready to pickup, & the price.

They updated to a newer system so the first thing you are hearing is that you need to opt in to the new system to keep getting the notification calls.

That's it - it is not a scam or phish or anything else. I've been getting them for years so I don't waste a trip only to find they are not ready.

I do not need to be called about a prescription being ready at Walmart.

I think the call is legitimate. I would love that they show Walmart on the caller ID rather toll free number.

"Opting out of alerts and other weird stuff"?  You think THAT sounds fishy?  Wow.

Someone provided your phone number to them to be put in their system. Only way it could get in there. Maybe punched in wrong number or someone deliberately told them the wrong number. It happens.

Ten hours after filling a prescription at walmart I received a special offer all relating to my prescription. Unwanted, unsolicited and at 3:00 in the morning. I will never use their pharmacy again because of this.

I certainly will continue using Walmart for prescriptions because they save me a lot of money and I'm not going to declare war and shoot myself in the foot because they have apparently become the victim of some low life's spoofing and pranking their phone number.  Face it,  why would any major company like Walmart commit financial and reputable suicide by deliberately conducting business in such a manner.  Could even be a disgruntled employee or exemployee.  Stop the Witch hunts and give it some realistic thought.

This is Walmart Pharmacy calling to tell you your preciption is ready.  Why don't they say Walmart?

This was a recorded message saying Walmart had changed their prescription notification policy and I needed to confirm that I wanted to continue receiving phone alerts that prescriptions were ready. I called Walmart pharmacy and they confirmed the call was valid. If you use Walmart pharmacy then call them to confirm message. If you do not use Walmart pharmacy then ignore or block.

you are right.  I've also tried....Walmart has the sorriest pharmacy service I've ever dealt with!!

caller Id will name the pharmacy calling you if the number belongs to them you will see their name. This is a scam to see if the number is a good number to sell to a telemarketer. It is a test of gullibility.

My text alert to tell me when my medicine is ready doesn't work anymore i have tried several time to get the drug store to fix it but they cant ..what can i do  next ? i just dont know what i am missing ...i had the alert system for years and there is nothing better i love it ...

Deb ,i always love that service also i never had to wonder if my medicine or nothing ...but a few months ago something went fron i cant get it back no matter how hard i ...i ask the girls at walmart  and they said they would put my number back in  .... but its not working do you have any ideal what i can do to get it back ? i ask the question here but no one has answered ...Thank you so much ..Debbie
