I agree that they should be stopped from bothering us. I have never given them my number but they got it anyway. I don't want bothered by them if I have a prescription or not. I do not have one now and haven't had one with them for three years but they keep calling.

This is a stupid bothersome service if you want to call it that. I have not taken a prescription to them in three years and they still keep calling...IF THIS IS WHO YOU ALL SAY IT IS.

No you are wrong. I have never signed up for this or any service at WalMart and in fact I make it a point to NOT sign up for anything but they got my number from doctors records and call with no messages ever left. Here's one even better...I have not taken a prescription to them in three years so I shouldn't be getting a call. BOGUS CALL

Has anyone else in your family taken a prescription there?  My daughter who is away at college takes hers to Walmart because of the insurance gave them our home phone number, so we get the calls when she fills a prescription.  She finally changed it to her cell, now they call her.

Jeez some of you people are stupid. As someone earlier said, it IS the Walmart/Sam's Club pharmacy. Someone has given them your phone number. Yeah it sucks if you're getting calls even though you don't get your prescriptions from them--but the paranoia and conspiracy crap is just ridiculous. It's an automated message. You're not even MEANT to call it back unless you want to get stricken from the list. It is not a scam to get info from you. No wonder this country is screwed up.

Yeah, I keep getting calls from them and I have never had a prescription filled there.

Well, thanks, but I did drop off the med bottle, telling them that I needed a refill, and they told me to wait for 20 min, so I walked around, just a quart of oil, Zebra cake, and Dr Thunder, and then, I went back to pharmacy and I got the med picked up before I went to work.

Maybe you gave Walmart/Sam club your home telephone number, but if you didn't, then probably your Doctor or hospital did gave them your info.....

This was Wal-Mart Pharmacy with an automated call to tell me I had a Rx to pickup for someone in my family (wife).
She had the doctor's office call the Rx in to the local Wal-Mart. I didn't know about it until I picked up the Rx.

You can call the store and tell them you don't want to be called, they'll take you off the list. DUH!

They got your number from someone who put your number in as a phone contact.  The patient probably put in a fake number so they wouldn't get called either!

Do you have a long voicemail message?  The walmart automated system will begin as soon as it senses that the phone has been answered, so if you have a long outgoing voicemail message, the message will be over by then, If that makes any sense.

No way to stop them? call your local walmart pharmacy and opt out, silly!

This is WalMart / Sam's Club letting you know that your Rx is ready to pickup.  It is a good service.  The call is generated as soon as the script is finished.  You can receive a followup if you do not pickup in a day or two.  This is a legit call and service.

Cool.  Looks like it could at least say Wally World is calling or something!  LOL

For all of you that like to use the word "DUH"...please stop!!.. you sound like "Duh"!!! yourself...don't you think that people have already tried the obvious to make it stop...when you call the store...they are like "DUH"....oh wait!!..do you work at walmart?!?
