Chicago area, called just now. I see people here have said it's Walmart or Sam's Club calling to say our prescription is ready but we don't have prescriptions at either place and never have. We don't have a Sam's Club or Walmart credit card or membership.  When the machine picked it up (4th ring) the line was already dead so it just gave the dial tone.    

I called back and it said it was Walmart Mobile Prescription Reminder.  Right away I wondered because they called on our LAND line, so this wouldn't be a "mobile" line. I never sign up for a thing using my cell phone. Both my cell and our land line are unlisted numbers and I never sign up for anything in stores using them (I use an old disconnected # we had years ago that is still invalid)  

You get a recording when you call - can press 3 to opt-out of getting calls, press 0 for help or press * to hear the menu again.  I pressed 0 but it just repeated the menu again.  So calling did no good and you couldn't get any info even if just to find out what they were calling about.

I tried using the option to 'manage your reminders' but of course it doesn't work.  I called the 205 area code number in the message and it was a pharmacy in a WalMart 1500 miles away from me.  I was passed around and I eventually talked to the pharmacy manager.  I stressfully suggested that he pass word up to their IT manager that they need to add a "If you have received this call in error" option.    

This is WalMart Pharmacy's prescription reminder service, letting us know our prescription called in by our doctor is ready for pickup.

Are you sure it's the same number calling you each time? I get a lot of bogus calls each day, but only one was from wall Mart.  This is a legitimate service to let people know their prescriptions are ready. Why on earth would they randomly call people for that? Do you think some guy is in a back office somewhere laughing all day at the people he "gets" with fake prescription reminders?

Some one has apparently turned your number in as their number, whether on purpose or an error on their part or the employee making an error recording it.  It's an automated service, so I don't know how to stop that one.  But it's a great service, if you use their service.

I am on the " do not call" list - stop the calls!!

Suppose you don't want people in your house to know you are receiving Viagra or something else from the pharmacy. Not revealing the name is a privacy issue.

Wal-mart Pharmacy , 866-575-4108 , don't care about all the crap , how do I get them to stop calling my phone

I have never used Wal-Mart pharmacy and I've had this number for over a year. I get 3 and 4 calls a day, at least 5 times a week. I have answered and opted out numerous times and I've called the number and opted out more times than I can count. I'm so sick of this. I have the number blocked on my phone so it doesn't ring but it still appears in my call log and they can still leave messages.

It is something. If you hit 3 to make it stop, it just continues to call, even after getting confirmation you won't get called anymore

Why can't Walmart Pharmacy tell me its them.

Yep, it's walmart pharmacy. Called me to let me know my prescriptions were ready.

I am in the 530 area and 866)575-4108 is not walmart pharmacy in my area, so it IS a scam call. They call here a lot and are probably telemarketers.  They just call and hang up without a message.

This number keeps calling me even though I am not the person they are looking for. I have even stayed on the line asking to be removed from their list, yet they still continue to call me.

Don't have a account at any Walmart pharmacy with my cell phone but they still call. Just yesterday they called and I calll  back and ask them to please stop calling my cell. They were very rude and ask if it was bothering me? I said yes it was because I don't have a Walmart account and I pay for them minutes and it's very annoying to listen to . I got a block on the number now.

Just had the call. It was Sam's Club Pharmacy telling me my scripts were ready for pick up.

I just got a message from Sam's Club saying that my prescription is ready.  I've never used Sam's Club to fill a prescription; first of all because they've only been in our town for about 6 months and secondly, because I get my prescriptions filled through my insurance company's mail order method.

I received 8 calls from them on Sunday.  SMH.  When I went to pick up my medication, it wasn't ready so II left.  I called it in 2 hours earlier and they said it would be ready in an hour.  I arrived at the counter at 6:45, 15 mins prior to their closing and they informed me it would be another 10-15 mins.  I was not happy, and will pick it up when my prescription runs out. LOL  I guess it was my WalMart Pharmacy.

When my prescriptions are ready Walmart does call, however the Walmart name always shows up on my caller ID.
I think this is someone scamming.

It's interesting reading all the posts complaining about a legitimate number, although I'm sure mis-steps can occur like maybe Walmart Pharmacy did not get a request to change a phone number when one of their customers moved or any number of quirks can happen.

For me, this is always Walmart Pharmacy calling when my prescription is ready.
