wow so i was really excited when this came in the mail. it look lagit but after google-ing it i found out the same as everyone else..it's fake!!! it is kinda weird how they got all of our addresses and names...what else do they have...well i guess if they have a phone book they can just send stuff to whomever. wow people get paid for that cheap trick!

I received the postcard/letter today. i knew it was a scam, because; If it looks to good to be true...... please keep up the good work!AND thanks.

I received a postal mail from G.F. Institute, Kansas City, Kansas. It had written on it, "Official Information RE: $25,000.00 Grant from U.S. Goverment.

I got the same thing. A card in the mail with an offer for 25,000. The postage comes from IL though, very suspisious. Such a scam!!

Received the same thing today.  This is ridiculous the way they are praying on folks.  I'm so happy I decided to check them out online.  What about the folks who don't have internet access?

i got the same card, did call, before checking them on the net, the only thing on the net is this blog, i am sure its a SCAM, it sure is tempting, if I find something about them i will report toevery body there...

I got the same letter. I have been to the Gov. web site re: grants. Right on the top of one of the pages, it worns you about scams like this. I am trying to get a "grant" to buy an existing business and its not an easy task at all. It appears that in some cases, when you start the process, it will end up with the SBA. I am sure they exist, but its a uphill battle to get the real info. Everyone wants to sell you the "how to get a grant" info, but they all end up in the same place. i called just to get info, they said you pay 70. dollars which include shipping.  i just asked about what i get and if i don't get any money they are talking about.  they told me that if i don't get at least $25,000 in federal grant money then they would refund my money for the guide back.  but i don't know if its a good idea or not...

One of us received the same "enticing" document which has been legally distributed through the US Postal Service. Our associate called the number on the document. The call was answered by a "Robot Answerer". It offered a "Government Grant Guide" to help the reader in "finding the available government grants" and apply for a share of the "million of $$$$" set aside by politicians to further their goals etc...

This lawyerly prepared document and the recording appears to cleverly achieve the G.F. Institute's apparent goal: Get one's attention AND sell a book supposedly giving information on Government Funds that are allegedly available for distribution to the public. It also gives the cost of the book.

Basically this appears to be another outrageous advertising gimmick typical of our consumer culture.  Good luck if you go for it...let us know how you made out getting a share of any "government grant".

You guys are absolutely [***]. If you actually took the time to call the number and give them a peaty 59 bucks they mail you a package showing you the steps of how to receive 25 grand or more. it is not a scam. You just have to work for it. 25 grand isn't going to just be handed to you without you having to do anything at all. Why not try getting off the couch and earning it.

It is simply a company that sells knowledge like those infomercials you see on tv after 2am.

I called this number 3 weeks ago and payed the money. the sent me a package with everything i needed to know to get this 25,000. Its not hard people and its certainly not a scam. You just have to take a little bit of time out of your schedule to earn the money. It takes about a month. Dont listen to some of these bone heads on here

I received the same Government Grant of $25,000 and this is a scam... They only make $ from people that call and send money... You should remember: If it sounds too good to be true; well you know what to do..

yes i got the same grant offer in the mail from this same gf institute i think that this is is nothing more than a common scam i dinot even bother calling the number. IF i WERE YOU I WOULD NOT BOTHER WITH IT.

I am glad I did a google search, I had my identy stole and I know you are going through alot, I recieved a letter from this G F Institute I almost called, I am so glad people have posted this scam, It has saved me more trouble, shame there is so much evil these days, I hope you have good luck and also make sure you do a police report that is what saved me from charges made in my name but not me,

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. You can report these people to the Director of Insurance & Commerce.They deal w/people who go from state to state illegally trying to convince someone that they can receive $25,000.00 just because they are alive!!! It's just stupid that someone would give me $25,00.00 when my house is in foreclosurer, I have no job, etc. They need to be stopped. Contact your Commisioner in your state and file a complaint, he will have to stop it. It's his job.
