They called alot of family members my previous residence looking for me...  I dont mind I owe the debt, I got laid off after 13years I have no income cant even pay my child support...So i tell the lady if she takes food stamps she got angry and hung up..

We keep receiving messages for my mother in law from an Andrew Montana...she doesn't live with us and we aren't the type to give out anyone's information. Not really sure even how they got our number other than last names or addresses. How ever we did pass the message along. I must say he was very nice on the phone and made no threats other than the fact that his company was filing suit against her in our county. He does by law have to try and reach the debtor before filing, Its called due diligence. Having just settled a suit myself I know how frustrating the process is...I left him a message telling him I passed the info on so I hope he tries another way to reach her or what ever so hes not wasting his time or ours. I'm tired of receiving collection calls for everyone with in a 10 mile radius of us or that might be related somehow.lol

I keep getting someone from Pinnacle calling too, but it's not a 1 800 or 1 -866 number calling, it's from a 716 area code, they keep threatening me too at home and now are even calling my work place and harrassing my supervisor and co workers.

My elderly father called to tell me when he got to his florida vacation condo, there were 30 messages from David asking for a return call. I don't even know what the debt is for, he thought there was a class action lawsuit they wanted me to participate in. We'd bought insurance from a guy when I was pregnant who later had the fbi after him, so maybe it's regarding a problem with insurance.I went through a divorce this year so maybe it's some other debt. The best part is pinnacle has never contacted me, I've never recived a phone call, letter or email from them. They contacted my ex, he thought it was a scam, but then said david never returend his calls when he left messages. my understanding is they can't contact family when they can reach you or inform anyone it's regarding a debt......maybe that's just part of the intimidation and bullying to get your elderly family members involved.

I recieved a call from Matthew Carter at Pinnacle stating that if I didn't call him by 9pm tonight, a warrant would be issued for my arrest. The next day my mother, recieved a call from the same man saying that if she didn't make me call him by 9pm that night then they would issue a warrant for her arrest as well.

My mother's health is not well and she does not need to be put under this kind of stress by a low down, filthy group like those at Pinnacle.

These people need to be taught a lesson that what they are doing is illegal.

These people are using illegal practices and you must file a complaint with the FTC and your state's Attorney General's office, and get an attorney.

Do not talk to them over the phone!!!!!!

I got a call from Anthony tonight asking if i was the husband of who is actually my sister, telling me its urgent i get a hold of her.  he said she could avoid court action if she settled with them.  He did provide his name and the company was Pinnacle Asset Group.  I searched the web and i found these posts which have been helpful in getting the context of what they are trying to do; use scare tactics to get money out of people.

A mr. Anthony Morgan called for an employee of the company and denied being connected with Pinnacle Asset Group, a debt collecting outfit. I told him he was to contact the individual in question at home.

did they finally bring a suit against you?  Also what was the amount they wanted from you?  they are bothering me now...

Here's the deal. Pinnacle Asset Group is a very shady and illegal debt collection company. They try to call themselves legal assistants that work for a "legal processing firm" to make them seem important. I worked there very briefly, until I realized what they were all about. First off, they try to scare you with a possible civil lawsuit, that never happens. In fact, they are the ones that are getting sued on a daily basis. Second, they jack up the actual balance that is currently owed anywhere from $500 - $1500 and call it a "pre-trial balance" and then tell you that they have a great "settlement" they have been authorized to give you from their client, and then offer you the current balance that's actually owed. No real reduction at all. They just want you to think you got some great deal. Third, their "client" American Capital Investor Holdings, is actually 1 person, Michael Mancone, who just so happens to also be the owner of Pinnacle Asset Group. Michael uses the alias of Mark Johnson and title of Chief of Staff at Pinnacle, but by now, he might have changed his name again. The "Director of Operations" David Castle is actually Stephen Cook. He's good at throwing "legal sounding" phrases and threats at people to scare them into paying. The "Operations Manager" is Jonathan Hilton, who's real name is Gary Jones. He's another one that likes to threaten people with lawsuits if they can't pay. Again, these are idle threats. There are more lawsuits coming in then there are going out. I'd be surprised if they actually sue 2% of these debts. Whatever you do, DON'T PAY THIS BOTTOM FEEDING COMPANY!!! There's much more I could say about this company and their tactics, but for now I'll leave it at that. My employment with them was short, but it was long enough to know that this is the kind of company that gives collections a bad name! I guess they shouldn't have pissed off this ex-employee!

so,they really don't sue you only threaten too??? have been getting calls about a debt we just can't pay due to over 50k in hospital bills.I am worried they will file a judgement.

so,I should not be worried about them harassing me.they started calling 4/23 saying they have filed a suit(even gave me a CASE NUMBERfor the county in which I live) but was never served.I have been served before and went to court,but this david castle first calls says he is a legal assistant,then he calls saying he is the operations manager.just don't know what to do about them.

They have been threatening me for months. Sometimes I give them the same [***] they give me. Sometimes I'm nice. Depends on the day. I owe a whopping $1100. I'm not sure why the would waste their time to come after me from NY to FL??? I have done tons of research and can't see where they have actually sued someone? Let me know if yo find anything different.
